    Shano so passionate about de Dubs 😂 Lads Cork won that with their eyes closed. All the Dubs were capable of was trying to put a gloss on the scoreboard when Cork were emptying the bench to give lads a run.

    Hurling is now as boring if not worse than football, sad but true no glamour anymore it's all down to who's the more accurate it's a pity to see the way our games have gone,I think in 20yrs time both will be just a memory.

  • @Monaleenian
    @Monaleenian2 күн бұрын

    What's wrong with hurling being down to who is more accurate?! Surely accuracy should be rewarded. Accurate shots, accurate passes, accurate flicks, blocks and hooks. It's not the long puck! And even there, accuracy is important.

    I'd have: 1. Limerick 2. Kilkenny 3. Clare 4. Cork 5. Waterford 6. Wexford 7. Dublin 8. Galway 9. Tipperary 10. Antrim Waterford have shown enough form in Munster to suggest they would likely beat Wexford or Dublin. And Dublin have been so poor since the Galway game that they don't deserve to be in the top 6 in my opinion. They got lucky in their game against Wexford with the two late goals so that's why I put them in 7th... Galway and Tipp are low for the moment, both had terrible years this year, but they are two good hurling counties so they should come back stronger in the next few years.

    Very Disappointed with Wexford. Their body language in Warm up was septic, dropping balls,no fire in their bellies whatsoever. It was as if they were Playing. T wat practise match. If you can’t get up for an All Ireland 1/4 final, when do you? 10 months of training for that?

    That ref for the Clare Wexford game should never ref a game again .. giving O’Connor a yellow within the first minute of the game.. completely ruined what could have been a savage battle.. gone are the days of letting the games flow, now refs are too fond of the whistle

    Just scrap the provincials. They are completely redundant and skewed heavily making for a farcical structure. We all know Waterford would given cork or clare a better game then Dublin, Wexford or either McDonagh teams. There are club championships with better structures.

    Cork didn't need to get out of second gear.....just typical the anti Cork bias from these 2 clowns especially the hillbilly on the right, if we get smashed by limerick the next day which is very possible but we'll have to put up a better effort against 1 of the best teams to ever play the game

    Yeah. I think dublin hurling supporters just have no belief. That's because they see their team has little belief. There was a good dublin crowd at the leinster final, and they were shocked at the performance. Kids had competitions cancelled, and senior hurling round postponed to go. It's hard to up and travel after that. But dublin have potentially a good team there if they just believe in themselves. Hopefully, next year......

  • @HistoricGraves

    Cork didn't have to get out of second gear the whole game. By time the game was over I was sorry to think Dublin didn't save any face at all. Cork dipped their performance to match what what being put to them. And when Dublin finally started running at them it was too little too late. A patient ambush but it failed Dublin - just like a similar approach failed the Cork footballers. Tactics too conservative. Maybe MOD is a realist and he knows Cork would only do just enough and that was their opportunity.

    Crowds play a huge part in hurling. If Dublin had a following it would have made a game of it. Their following is poor but it should be called out how shambolic it was for that game. The lack of an atmosphere suited Cork perfectly.

    Maybe Brian has done a lot behind the scenes but his failure on the scene is the problem for 5 yrs, I m a cork man so I m not invested. The set up against kk last yr wasn't acceptable considering what limerick did to them after in the final. They had 2 thrillers with limerick already. He watched the same thing over and over again in games he is losing and can't change it up. It's a tough job being a home grown intercounty manager

    Are we now going to adopt another ruthless soccer culture, " sack the manager," because he is not instantly delivering them big trophies they feel they are entitled to. If they were paying Liam Cahill exhorbitant wages, then i would accept the " hang em high " criterion , but im quite sure he will never become a millionaire hurling manager and therefore he must not be subjected to the same professional level of accountability. The survival of the association greatly depends on voluntary work, and if undue criticism comtinues , a lot of well itentioned people could walk away from the game.

    Pity the GAA don’t take into consideration the Feile on Saturday. It’s a reasonable request and I haven’t heard the Clare management disagree to it. The word “flexibility” should be at the talking table?

    In all honesty the GAA don't take hurling in general into consideration anymore. More invested the last several years in turning it into a super high scoring game to try and market it in America, than protecting the super sport we have already.
