What chip are you using?, just the lower grade of the SOC that is available from reputable sellers starts at 253eur plus tax ! yes, the SOC sells for more than the development board.

Please please please if you're making a handheld with this board don't skimp out on the screen. Analogue pocket screams look at my screen. Please make it comparable to the pockets screen with a better dpad and buttons.

This is a great achievement, not to be diminished, but I selfishly have wanted a better FPGA even since the DE-10s were $75. Of course its only gone up from then, but I kept hoping someone would supersede the Cyclone V with one with more LEs.

Waste of money . Why what’s the point when you can a purchase a very cheap old Pc for £90 to run all this old retro games. When you’ve played all the last generation of games, why would you want to play them all once more it’s a waste of money .

No, the Raspberry Pi 1 cannot do this. It can't even do a fraction of what this can do. If you throw display shaders on top of the games that are running, you would need a Raspberry Pi 4 or 5 to match what this hardware does.

short: yes. long: Yes only a hand full of N64 games are left with issues that are Major- unplayable, many are Rare games.

Regarding the cost/benfeit ratio... I'm really the opppsite of impressed... do they have plans to emulate PS3 and run wipEout HD? But even that wouldn't make me spend 200 bucks... anyway. Nice video. THX³

@@Vulto166 I think I should only watch your video and see that an FPGA is overdose for the examples you showed. And that the price of the board doesn't match for the kind of emulation you showed. Already there are so much emulator devices that have a much better CBR.

All of the emulators shown in this video can be run on a cheap 30$ Android TV box then why would someone invest in this? Yeh, I know it's an FPGA which gives an open platform to play with one but to be honest most of the people will just use it for emulating retro games which comes back to the first point.

Yesterday here in Argentina after the PC/Phone repair courses at the institute, I went into a store to ask about a Game Stick. I was willing to pay roughly 20.000 pesos but was hit with a huge price of 50.000... Where could I get one of these instead? Maybe one that could run PS2 which is my latest console which still works 😔

China has a firewall for the entire country. If you use a VPN or a paid business internet plan with the local telecoms, you can access anything the firewall blocks.

If they manage to get this portable (which no doubt they will). It's going to put Analogue Pocket underground. Other than the ability to play carts this will be superior in everyway.
