  Great race, and thank you, my friend, for making this video! ^.^ This strategy seems to be the quickest in Laps 1 & 2. As for the final stretch, I usually like to use the late triple strategy and utilize the Wild Gang's triple NOS top speed, the SS boost, and the tight turning radius to catch up to the other racers as they perform the final Ultimate Charge😂

  Thanks for letting me "borrow" you to make this video :P I think it still depends on the situation whether or not to use the late triple, maybe it's my own problem, most of the times I just could not make this strategy work without getting pushed from behind ^.^;

  Most of the still-active players these days usually play online during the evening of JST, some of us do have Discord but pretty much all of those servers are private (meaning online friends only), that's all I can tell.

  Wild Gang is generally considered to be very high up on the tierlist when it comes to online races. Its looks and the lowest regular topspeed out of all player machines can easily give newer players the wrong idea, but it actually has the second highest NOS topspeed (the "hidden" stat that really counts 😉) in the game, just barely outdone by the EO's. The longer nitro duration can be a bit of a double edged sword depending on the track, but it's still fun for the resulting unique strategies...oh, and the small size is also an advantage to squeeze through gaps and avoid crashes 😛

  This is just my OCD-coded brain speaking, but it always kinda bothered me that, when going for a pure black or white paintjob, it's still possible to ever so slightly see the outlines of the various decals and sponsors when you look very closely...that ruins it for me 😅 Would've been neat if they had given each machine an optional blank liverie that removes any design elements altogether.

  One big part of those 90% luck in this run definitely seems to have been the fact that the 1st and 2nd placed Angelus took such an insanely wide line through the last turn...for whatever reason 🤣 Consistently getting the short section between the chicane and deathpin just right to be far enough on the inside looks like the biggest pain given how easily Pac-Man likes to start drifts on his own, even without CPU distractions. Definitely looks like way too much of a pain to give this a serious shot myself though, nicely done! o7

  It could have been shut down, but T-REX inspired so many people (me included) to play the online mode of this iconic racing game, so that may be why they have decided to keep the online servers up. ^.^

  Feels more like Bamco caring so little about the series anymore that they can't even be bothered to take the game offline...which is actually a good thing in this case I suppose 😜 But yeah, not only is online play on PS3 still possible, it also remains completely free of charge unlike P$4/5 😒

  Hey! I was wondering if you could do a short rundown on your preferred tune of choice? Been struggling to get my times down to you guys' pace. I appreciate that Slip Stream has a big effect, but on the trials I am not far off, but I do not think I have the right tunes selected :D Do you use mostly the same tires and nitrous for all cars?

  RR7 is still PS3 exclusive, so that's where everyone is for online play, and there only ever was one version of the game. If you're referring to the "3D Licence Version", that's just the digital download that already includes a 3D display patch that came out way back when that gimmick was a thing for a hot minute, but there's no actual new content compared to the vanilla game. Just one important tip: Make sure to complete the single player campaign first to unlock car upgrades before jumping online.

  Congrats on the 12k!! Sadly couldn't make it online yesterday, somehow it's always the obstruction races I keep missing recently... >_> It's definitely welcome to see actual blocker special machines again for these, I think the added randomness makes it a lot fairer overall since they can be both a help AND detriment to team blue ;P Best example being patarullo's last obstruction battle, even just as a spectator, it honestly got frustrating seeing him get so many close 2nd and 3rd place finishes and ultimately not making the win, some roadblock luck would've helped there I bet. Sure, making it hard for the target player to reach the milestone is kinda the point, but in the end celebrating them for achieving it should be the actual goal of these events instead of staying in "sweaty gamer mode" all the way through imo.

  There's a major difference in making it "hard" and making it "impossible" for the target player to reach the milestone wins, which is why I decided to specifically state the regulations like I did in this event. What had happened to patarullo was unfortunate...

  This helped me to truly understand what the obstruction race events are about; therefore, I would like to apologize once again for everything I did in patarullo's obstruction race event. However, if there is going to be an obstruction race event for my 20000th win, I would like for everyone to do their best to make it impossible for me to win and use any means no matter how extreme the moves may be (I actually prefer it to be that way) LOL

  If you were referring to race 4, then that's because I was using Zolgear engine instead of Druaga engine.
