What was the best house reef you’ve seen in the Maldives?
Hi Mike, thank you for your comment. The best house reef we´ve seen so far in Maldives was Veligandu ... by far. It was breathtaking - the corals, turtles, dolphins, eagle rays, sharks and more ... The reef is easily accessible from the beach. Another amazing reef was in Movenpick Maldives ... the corals were not in top condition (pretty standard situation in many resorts nowadays) BUT there were a lot of fish, turtles, eagle rays ... and the access from the dive center was very easy and comfrotable with a lifeguard on duty whole day. The Standard and Furaveri had decent house reef too (but nothing to compare to Veligandu) Have fun and let me know if you have further questions, I´ll be happy to help.

Noruega tiene regulaciones de drones relativamente estrictas, que están en línea con la Regulación de Drones de la Unión Europea. Estas regulaciones cubren aspectos como el registro, la certificación del piloto y las zonas de vuelo prohibido. Yo, como ciudadano de la UE, utilicé mi certificación de piloto de mi país de origen y seguí las regulaciones de Noruega. Volé mi dron en la zona del fiordo de Oslo (cerca de Tonsberg) y no tuve problemas.

La duda que me surge es que aquí en España tenemos Enaire drones, donde se encuentran todas informaciones de zonas. Tu que mapa de zonas (permitidas y no) has consultado para tus vuelos en noruega? Porque no logro encontrar dicho mapa. Por otro lado, he leído que para tomar imágenes hay que darse de alta y pagar una tasa de 20€, te ha tocado hacerlo? Y de ser así me podrías decir donde? Desde ya muchas gracias por tu ayuda
Wir haben letztes Jahr unseren Urlaub dort verbracht. Eine traumhafte Anlage, wir hatten ein Zimmer mit kleinem Pool. Es war wunderschön. Das Personal unglaublich aufmerksam und freundlich. Der Hotelmanager ist ein sehr herzlicher Chef der für die Gäste immer ein offenes Ohr hat. Ich sehe mir heute noch gerne die Bilder an und träume von dieser Reise❤
Wow, freut mich riesig, dass du auch so eine tolle Zeit im Atrium Prestige Hotel auf Rhodos hattest! Ein Zimmer mit eigenem Pool klingt ja unglaublich - kein Wunder, dass du so schöne Erinnerungen daran hast. Genau wie du, war ich total begeistert vom freundlichen und zuvorkommenden Personal und der Hotelmanager scheint sich wirklich um seine Gäste zu kümmern. Es ist wirklich ein ganz besonderer Ort! Urlaubsfotos anzuschauen bringt immer die schönsten Erinnerungen zurück, oder? Vielleicht verschlägt es uns ja beide irgendwann nochmal ins Atrium Prestige Hotel!

Hi there, in Furaveri we stayed in the beach villa so can not judge. I only included resorts where we stayed in water villas in order to share somethiing we personally experienced. But you are right, water villas in Furaveri would fit in the under 1000K budget :-) Thank you for this comment.
Why did You like Park Hyatt more than ST.Regis and Rotana? I'm choosing between St.Regis, Jumeirah and Park Hyatt all on Saadiyat island...Thanks for sharing!
Hi, thank you for this comment. We loved Park Hyatt more then St. Regis and Rotana. Jumeirah does not have greeenery and the beach is very narrow in this part of Saadiyat beach so Jumeirah is not an option for us. St. Regis Saadiyat is great, very good service but a bit too big (St. Regis residences are neighbouring the resort and it feels crowded), the rooms are a bit dated too. Rotana is great, the rooms are beautiful but the service is sometimes not amazing (but only compared to the other 5-star lux resorts). So our overall favourite is Park Hyatt!!! Have fun and don´ t hesitate to ask should you need further information.

We did snorkel at Veligandu (the best!!!), Movenpick (great), Velidhu (really good, resort is closed now), Noku (so so), Sun island (great), Holiday island (no house reef, snorekled the islands nearby - amazing), Furaveri (ok), Standard (ok), reefs in South Male atoll (coral garden - good) and Vaavu atoll (ship wreck - awsome). I know... there are so many resorts in Maldives to choose from. But if you want great snorkeling go for Veligandu - it is really amazing there!!!

How much budget for 4N5D ?
Hi and thank you for your comment. In 2022 (Easter = high season) we paid 442 USD per night (2 adults + 10 year old) for garden villa with half board. Upon arrival we paid for upgrad to beach villa (100 USD per night). The seaplane transfer is not included. Hope ih helps.

Can you hire a car from the resort
We did not hire a car but if I remember correctly, there was a possibility to rent a car in the reception.
And what was your experience in this resort? Did you like it? Did you have fun?
What are drink prices fo you know? Beers, cocktails? Thanks
If I remember correctly, the coctails by the pool were around 15 EUR. But head to the minimarket that is close to the pool and you can get the drinks there for 3-4 EUR :-)

How long did you stay there? Did they lend you the paddles for free, eveyday?
Hi, we stayed for 12 nights. Every day we had 60 minutes free but many times we returned 2 hours later and it was not a problem and we were never charged. Hope it helps. Do not hesitate to ask more questions. You will love it there!
