Dgd was the first band i ever saw live when i was 16 & the only band i still listen to regularly to this day. That sound has constantly evolved keeping it fresh. Interested to see what comes of this vocal change, i like the two singles. The only hate i have is for ticket prices, play the house of blues or something. Don’t want to shell out $400 for this festival bs!!

My opinion on the best clean vocalists in the saga of dgd (best as in technical, range, vocal control, and sexy runs). Jonny>Andrew>Tilian>Kurt.

Dave is trying to save his brand and not get cancelled from this interview. There's no way he doesn't based on all his other opinions where he's shown he's fairly awake, that he doesn't know what Andrew is saying is cold hard facts we all know whether we like to admit it or not but all know to be true, stone cold facts, regardless of how much those truths upset people's feelings but because it does they have to cling on to expectations outside the rule.

I would be happy if Kurt came back, but idk how he would feel about having ANOTHER band. Dude does so much. But johnny would actually make me sad. He'd have to learn all these new songs since he's been gone and i doubt he'll put much effort into that. And if he's okay smoking fentanyl around his baby then i don't feel like the band as a whole would be okay with his lack of regard for others. And Will literally just had a baby, so as a parent myself, i would think Will's judgement would be strong enough to say keep him away from here. At least as far as being the permanent lead vocals go...

I remember prior to the release of the Deathstar/Self Titled album, Nic Newsham from Gatsby’s American Dream tried out for them (and was featured on Uneasy Hearts). I’ve always been a fan of his voice on both Uneasy Hearts as well as Gatsby’s. Would be really interesting to see a possible future with him.
