My mindset is 100% there, now my legs on the other hand...
3 years playing and my best points made in game was 2
Summary for myself: You have to be confident Have Fun Act Like This will be your last game of basketball cuz i might just be Use affirmations Have a next play mentality Put in the work
i use a 7 foot hoop
U said to not work on a one dribble pull up as much as two or three dribble pull cause it doesn’t really work unless you get your defender with a shot fake, so then why did Kobe utilize it so much??
How many players in the world play like Kobe? How many offenses at the high school, college, and NBA level are built for shots that Kobe took? The answer is none. That’s not modern day basketball.
Love the content as always. Just some feedback on the audio, get a pop filter on your mic or use a de-esser to remove those plosives. The pop is very glaring whenever you say ex. ”Players”
Riding a bike helps too, especially if you ride hard and up hills. Really good for cardio, core, and balance.
IF ONE DAY If I'm missing a lot and I'm not able to recover my shot, I shoul keep shooting or not, and leva it for the next day???
Hey coach Ive been working on my defense and had several questions I wanted you to help me with what's your email?
he was slower, his timing was more methodical
Um mister i love all the advice you are giving I was wondering if i could take some of your classes pls
Totally agree on getting "game-realistic" reps. Real passes/catches, realistic locations, etc What would you say a good minimum period to try this routine out would be? Could be interested in doing a 'I tried vision driven basketball's shooting plan for X months and here are my results" video
Thanks for this ❤❤
speed stop my fav
Where do you practice
Thank you man, ive been struggling with that problem and your helping me get through it with your tips, i really appreciate it.
Clay is quick on his feet too.. not many defenders have his ability to track a defender down like he does.
your videos are so informative and easy to learn from. dont quit making these. youre a legend man, super underrated. keep working.
I appreciate the support, no slowing down over here🙌🏽

Bro ur my hero

Sir I want to do your training program but I don’t have the money. I know there’s no reason to help me as I can’t help you but to become an elite ball handler and shooter, do specific workouts matter or will anything that challenges you help? Also I made a workout plan but I don’t know if the workouts have real credibility. What workouts from your channel would you recommend?
Some workouts are definitely better than others, but in general the most important things are that your workouts challenge you and that you’re consistent. If you keep those two things in mind, you’ll get better regardless of the specific workout. In terms of workouts on my channel, I’ve got a ton! Check my playlists and you’ll see scoring workouts, shooting workouts, and ball handling workouts, then find some you like and use those! You’ll get better!!
man… u js spoke to me. i used to struggle with thinking that not losing the ball or not making any mistakes meant ur getting better, and it makes sense in ur head too. if i dont make any mistakes in practice, it shouldn’t happen when gametime comes around. i now view losing the ball, airballing a shot, or anything like that as growth. anyways, thanks for this absolute gem man. 🙏
Yessir!!
bro i play my friend 1v1 for a while but i literally cant get by him ive tried change of pace and trying to use bumps but everytimi i do get by he just blocks ny shot
try using pump fakes and step throughs
Hey! Really nice video. But please make them a bit more structured. You always say 1. 2. 3. For example shooting, where you say 1. Form 2. Getting of the ground with power 3. Footwork. And minutes later you say: Number 2 is Reps. Now i am just confused about all the numbers and cant learn anything.
So the first Thing is Shooting, the third is ballhandling. What is the second one?
great video thank you !
Thanks for watching!
I've been following your workouts for over 4 years. Lots of improvement on my end and I'm happy to see this type of self reflection from you as a coach.
Thanks for the support!
Do reps only count for makes?
Sometimes
Under 30 minute gang :o
Didn't you already talked about the fish tank before?
It's called an analogy

after some time people will realize this is THE blueprint, this is what it takes
God saves
Honestly even if you think about what's happening it still doesn't sit right with your body
How many form shots a day should I be doing to re learn my jumpshot?? Off-season is about to start
bro i play my friend 1v1 and cant get by him and when i do he just blocks my shot
this advice is also effective not only basketball, but all aspect of life
This needs more love, thanks for the info!

Hey Coach, I want to ask that which exercises i should do to generate some strength to raise my set point and increase my range. Please reply🏀
Yo nice video. When you say “career” in your title who are you referring to? Is your audience for recreational & league players?
It helps to be “unguardable” by constantly palming the ball and frequently traveling on step backs - the Harden trick. I admire Luka’s B-ball IQ and competitiveness, but I am getting sick of his constant rule violations and his constant complaining to the refs.
You don’t have to but I would suggest since you already did these types of videos on ball handling and shooting you can also do the same thing for finishing, defense, passing, and maybe rebounding
Yup definitely going to cover those things! Also planning on talking about how I should’ve developed basketball IQ, dealt with nerves/lack of confidence, and likely more things as I get more requests!
@@VisionDrivenBasketball I don't know if you want to include this in basketball IQ or make a separate video but advanced passing and receiving passes, not just getting it to one guy but things like lobs, situational placement, knowing when to make an extra pass and how to spot it, etc would help. Could be classified as playmaking or how to be a court general
The x drill helped really much! Thanks man🤝
One thing I’ll say as a career bench guy brought in to shoot is sometimes it’s good to jump right into game shots no big warmup. This is how it’ll be a lot of the time in games. Then my first sort of break I may go back in to form shooting to assess where I am after I’ve warmed up with 50-100 reps
I do this a lot! For a lot of my players, we go right into what I call “The 8 AM AAU Drill” where the first thing they have to do is go at least 3/4 on 4 different game shots in order to start the workout. So we might go corner to wing relocation, wing to corner relocation, pindown on the wing, and then transition 3 (or really any 4 shots, it’s always different)…this gets them in the mindset of being able to make shots right away without needing a warmup and for my high school players, they get prepared for the aau games where they’ll get maybe 5 shots to warmup and then will be expected to make shots. Definitely something that I love to do.
