@@JoeyRubella not only do I appreciate it, but when I was visiting a former girlfriend of mine in New York, from where I live in Los Angeles, I went into some great record stores and they had incredible 12 inch sections, and two of the songs from our LP kzread.info/dash/bejne/gZyZ07Ktlcate7w.htmlsi=KSQGO4_ogKgshhOV were turned into a 12 inch that I never knew existed- for radio stations that was really thrilling to see that at least someone had gone to the effort to create a 12 inch and preserve as Much Sonic richness instead of losing the high end I really enjoy listening to your work here. Uhhh... I put "1980's" (meaning it came from the 1980's, which includes the release year of 1987). And it IS off my own copy from a vinyl record, among 7 other Pet Shop Boys remixes I also have on vinyl. Maybe you should check out the internet for the vinyl record that I am talking about. It's easy enough to locate on there. Many people bought it back in the 80's. And I (personally) do not have the CD you are talking about, only the vinyl record.

Hey, thanks for the kind words! I appreciate it! However, just to be clear, I didn't record the actual band in the studio, unfortunately, haha. I just made sure that I transferred the vinyl record to digital format as faithfully as possible, without altering the original sound of the recording, and through a good set of monitors. Hey, thanks! And the bass is better on some than others, but when I recorded them all, I ran them straight through the mixer, clean with no EQ added or subtracted. So there is no alteration to what was actually on the record. But when I listen to them on my home stereo, they sound much better. Due to the bass and treble of the stereo amplifier. Interestingly enough it sounds later, than 1980 to me. It's too fresh, too open for 1980. If someone told me it was released in 1985, I could have easily believed it. However I can't be very objective since I don't know OMD that well, only their biggest hits.

Hello. Thanks for the comment! Yes, this extended verson WAS released in 1985. And you are right, their earlier style was slightly different, and not so "produced" sounding. If you know what I mean. Also, "1980's" in the title, which I understand can be confusing, is meant to encompass ALL of the 80's. Sorry for that confusion. It's just easier for me to put 1980's there, and not have to pull out all these vinyl records all over again for the date of each one, for these videos. As I have about 148 of them that I transferred over to cd. 😄

Yazoo, eurythmics, erasure.. Bronski beat.. with all bit of falsetto light female/transgender like voices... All more of the same... These early 80s synth bands... with live singer and from time to time a real saxophone in the back... German version of it was Modern Talking... Without 1980s video production with little storyline in it and without MTV I think it would just be a gimmick than a serious financial million dollars gainer.. Of which the artists just saw a little cut of it.

Interestingly enough it sounds later, than 1980 to me. It's too fresh, too open for 1980. If someone told me it was released in 1985, I could have easily believed it. However I can't be very objective since I don't know OMD that well, only their biggest hits.
Hello. Thanks for the comment! Yes, this extended verson WAS released in 1985. And you are right, their earlier style was slightly different, and not so "produced" sounding. If you know what I mean. Also, "1980's" in the title, which I understand can be confusing, is meant to encompass ALL of the 80's. Sorry for that confusion. It's just easier for me to put 1980's there, and not have to pull out all these vinyl records all over again for the date of each one, for these videos. As I have about 148 of them that I transferred over to cd. 😄

Yazoo, eurythmics, erasure.. Bronski beat.. with all bit of falsetto light female/transgender like voices... All more of the same... These early 80s synth bands... with live singer and from time to time a real saxophone in the back... German version of it was Modern Talking... Without 1980s video production with little storyline in it and without MTV I think it would just be a gimmick than a serious financial million dollars gainer.. Of which the artists just saw a little cut of it.
