Just ate there yesterday. Was unexpectedly bad. 90% of the food I’ve had on this cruise line across multiple cruises has been great. The crab cake was too wet and lacked seasoning, the calamari was rubbery, prawns were charred and bland, as was the salmon. I was disappointed and surprised how bad it was.

@@travelingtrishthiel Enchanted Princess. We are in St. Thomas today and was at sea yesterday. I’m no professional food critic, but I do know good food. Service was great, just not the food. And honestly with the exception of the goat cheese mix served with bread, it was just bad all around. The buffet is putting out better food. All other specialty restaurants have been amazing however. Sabatini’s and Crowne Grill have been consistently delicious!

What happened in the other room you had to be moved that late at night
On the Royal, nothing. We were upgraded to a corner aft suite. We were so busy having fun I didn't get back to the cabin until super late to put our stuff away. 😂😂😂 Now, on the Discovery, that was another story...and vlog...lol

We prefer being near retreat or aft pools as can only stay in hot tub about 20 mins max. You do you though 😅thanks for sharing your cruise experience with us! We prefer warm weather cruises but doing our first Alaska cruise on Crown in 50 days - woohoo 🙌

Hysterical - Where I live you can get a surf fishing license, and there are special things the Jeeps / SUV's need to do to go out on the beach; lower tire pressure etc.

Dear Trish, we are booked in Cabin R 732 Princess Discovery to Alaska. After the shower curtain was changed did the smell of mold mildew and urine truly vanish? I am so allergic!! Also do you know why cabin steward did not notice this smell and did no correct before you boarded! In your opinion, what should we do ahead of time regarding this situation?
The smells cause me breathing issues. After 12 days they decided to fix the leak. The smell became AWFUL. So bad that they gave us another cabin. Changing the shower curtain did solve the problem until they fixed the leak. I think there is mold in that cabin, in my opinion. When they lifted the carpet, the smell was unbearable. It is probably fine by now. I would personally not book that cabin again. I don't think the steward realized the curtain was smelly. Mike couldn't tell either. I'm just so sensitive to it that I notice that smell.

From afternoon until late night with breaks for personal needs and dinner...lol. We loved it!! Hot sunny day, movie at night...life was good!

We didn’t get a serenade but loved iour balcony dinner. -also liked your roses in a vase we got orchids in a bowl next time we are asking for half salad. Good tip to ask for tea

Looks like great cruise. I will say that dinner looked awful....and the presentation was zero...not even a garnish on the plate with the meat? I am glad you tell the management...so many just let it go. Thanks for the honest report.

Trish, we absolutely loved Usman, also! Our meal was just like yours with the addition of escargot as one of the appetizers. Guy had the filet mignon & lobster but I asked for just the lobster tail & was presented with 2 very large tails!😲We were quite pleased with our Deluxe Balcony Dinner. We, also, had to eat in the cabin, as our meal was served at the same time as the emergency airlift was taking place. It was a bit loud & too windy on the deck so we gladly agreed to have it set up inside. I begged Usman to come home with us!!! 😂 The boys did an amazing job, didn't they? We were so appreciative of this gift from or grandchildren & would gladly pay to have another balcony meal every time we cruise. What a great celebration we experienced!🥰❤I miss you, Trish & Mike!😘🤩
