Excellent, well crafted scene. Fiction, yet, so much conviction here.

Boy, Batman has nothing on Dracula as a detective. He's not in Transylvania - only a genius would be able to draw the conclusion that his remains must have been moved.

I'm surprised DC didn't do a sequel movie of Dracula. Would've been a hell of a watch.

These Transylvanians are dumb after killing Dracula which clearly didn’t take otherwise he’d be permanently dead why ship it to Gotham why not sink it to the bottom of the ocean why not burn it or just to be safe put him in daylight see if it burn upon contact. No they said “shit it’s someone else’s problem now”. 😂😂😂

Question is, assuming he was killed around the late 1890s, whose bright idea was it to just send his remains to some faraway country instead of just straight up cremating him? I mean, I get they needed to find some way for Dracula to be in Gotham but the reason is pretty weak.

Jack Lemmon won over AL Pacino that year. This was and still is the biggest Oscar snub of all time in my opinion. De Niro won that year for best supporting actor for Godfather 2.

liberals really believe this corny MCU tier fantasy happened, and of course there is the implication of a race mixed couple in the 1940s, because why not?

The scene in the beach hurts. Almost too real. You feel the fear they have deep within them. Their intimacy and understanding. The world seems to be plundering into chaos all around them. They have no control but to do their best and ride the storm. The great depression. Massive unemployment. On the constant run from something you can’t escape. The risks of the lifestyle. John Dillinger is just a product of the climate he lives in. I’m sure he’d choose a different path if it were different. And Billie is just scared of the uncertain and unknown but just knows she’s got it all right in front of her. Neither knows what will be the future but they cling with love and hopes for happiness. John just wants to get far away where his problems no longer exist and with Billie. Start something new. It’s more heart breaking that this time in history only ends when radical events from afar would start a global war effort that reshapes history. Millions more will die in an already bitter world. Necessary evils.

I´ve never expected this movie to be so emotional. After the first minutes watching it, I thought, ok, it´s a gangster movie with a lot of action, but then it turned out to be so deep. This scene was goosebumps, in the end I cried.
