Your video just came up on my feed and let me tell you, I totally relate to your message, your struggle. I have been on that place with my photography where you start to feel your art makes absolutely no sense (especially with the influence of Social Media and the impostor syndrome that elicits, I totally get it), almost like your art has lost its meaning, so to speak. Your photos are art, regardless!, but I totally understand as to why it feels sometimes like photography becomes not just art but pure content... and theres this thin line where you don't know where you standing. Give yourself a well deserved break my friend. Stop, take a breath and try to do something different. Burnt out, in my experience, its a clear call for us to rest and reassess from where we are looking our own craft. I really trust that a new way of seeing and doing your photography is on its way for you :) I really appreciate you sharing this.

Can't say that Film Photography is the best. Digital is the way to go but film does give another perspective on photography as a whole in my opinion

Hi Mate!! How3 you never used it? Always infor yourself about gears, because: That is one of THE MOST IMPORTANT thing especially for videography Is an N.D. Filter, the MAIN use are: to setup always the right shutter speed anme rate (fps) in cinematography, usually the 2 to 1 ratio that is used for movies and any "Perfect" picture situation, or to have "moving " water, or any blurred thing in movment on pics. Also there are Polireized N.D. filters, very good to shoot with bright sky in the background, so the sky is not over exposed to just look white because of the subject exp. Because...for more light...you need actually More Light...but for less...just this..Because against what many think, sometime less light is better!!

If you don't want something too big, you can look at the 20mm f2.8. It is a wide angle prime lens (so no zooming) but for its flat lens style it can fit in your pocket and still capture some good images and videos :)

I started out with a canon m50 mark 2. It has been a great camera for beginning. It is very user friendly. I would recommend it as a starter.

Definitely! Used the M50 Mark 1 for 2 years and loved it. Though since it's been discontinued, the R50 would be the camera that's close to it

Destined for great success playing Ron Weasley in future Harry Potter movies I reckon. If Rupert Grint were to walk out under a bus tomorrow, things could happen even faster. 🤣 ps. I've got that 24-105 f4L lens (it's great), but for my KZread camera vlogs I now use a 70D & 17-40 f4 - which is really cheap used these days. I'd love to swap out the 70D for an EOS R and may do it because a used Eos R is about the same price as a used 6DMk2. Now the R is old and unfashionable, it looks like pretty great value used. The main things negative reviews mention: the 4K crop, lack of high FPS and the single card slot aren't a big worry for me, and (since I shoot mainly portraits) the Eos R autofocus will be way better than what I'm used to on my 5D3 & 6Dmk1 (I'm currently a single point, back button shooter.) Tim

Hey there. Your videos came up in my search because I’ve been looking at the eos R. I think you’ve got the right idea. Voltaire said “the best is the enemy of the good” or words to that effect. Or as some people say, don’t let perfect be the enemy of good. I’m not a KZread creator but I’m an old fart who’s been creating in various forms since long before the internet and social media came along. Stick with the idea of creating for yourself. And it’s ok to be a perfectionist as long as you don’t let that become self-abusive or let it actually stop you from creating. I think if you do that, the audience will come along. Self-doubt is completely normal. But don’t forget to give yourself the same grace that you’d give to someone else in the same circumstance.
