  That's a shame, why did you stop ? Was it too basic for you ? Would you recommend the magazine for someone that's been interested in D&D but is a complete beginner?

  Yeah I think for a beginner it would be ok. The problem for me was that it was quite prescriptive in how the characters progressed. It works for the campaign that’s included and I imagine later in the collection they’ll introduce the full rules for levelling up but for me the money would be better spent on a players handbook.

  I had alot of trouble getting the minis into the stands. I probably won't get any acrylic minis in the future. I put em' in with the base flat on a surface, but it still took me ages.

  Really wish I'd started from issue 2, would have been so much more worth it than issue 1. Those figures look nice pity you had a breakage, hope this isn't a sign of quality for the run. I'm just about to edit together my review of issue 2 and saw you had 3 and really wanted to see those figures. Keep up the good work.

  In my experience with Hachette and their game Partworks, they will eventually release this in other countries, they'd be fools not too.

  These skinny minis look far too awkward to get into the bases. The skinny minis which came with the Dungeon in a Box series had slots in the bases which gradually got wider so you could easily get them in without breaking. Very frustrating.

  If you find them a too snug fit, get a file and go over the tabs a couple of times, being gently a nail file would be best, then test fit before shaving off any more.

  Only available in Ireland and the UK. Went to the site to subscribe to get each issue, when you input the address, I noticed address input for UK and Ireland were the only two options. I hope they release this for the US at some point.

  The irony of all ironies; D&D is a US created product, created in 74 in Lake Geneva and now owned by a US company Hasbro/WoTC, yet they have one product only available in the UK lol. It’s not a big deal, first word problem etc. it’s just something really cool produced that’s affordable, an ongoing subscription, much like Dungeon Magazine and Dragon Magazine.
