So good! As someone who just recently came out of the word of faith movement as well I’m so grateful and inspired by Jen’s passion for biblical literacy. 🙏🏽

I love how she calls herself a “mixed breed” growing up in several different denominations! I can relate but I experienced that by choice trying to find the church that was saying what needed to be said. Thank goodness for Two Cities for being that for me! ❤

I loved the emphasis on prayer! Prayer is so important to each of us but also for a church body.

How fun what a blessing to hear how God has been at work in you John! my husband enjoyed going. I also love how you mention the Bible verse about the demon possessed boy. This is why it’s important to study your Bible and use different translations. Unfortunately many translation leave out the fasting part and say just prayer. Fasting is something I desire to be more consistent and dedicated to.

I like the part when listening to speakers/ pastors ask yourself are they always the hero of their stories ? If so red flag. 👍🏼 thanks y’all for another great podcast.

Nate, I LOVE it when you preach…(I love it when Kyle preaches too of course) … but I still continue many months later, marinating on keeping Christ on the throne in my heart and putting my own affections on the altar…. So thankful for you, and how Christ is working through you!

So Darwin the man and his theory were wrong, wrong, wrong, but somehow the incorrectness of his theory led to the modern Medical theories, which somehow ACCIDENTLY MORE THAN DOUBLED THE AVERAGE HUMAN'S LIFE SPAN using Darwin's lousy theory. Wow, Darwin, what a fuck-up you are!

These podcasts have been such a great resource to me. Sometimes its just a great extension of the sermon. Sometimes its giving us a glimpse "behind the curtain" in how our church and staff operate. With the Lee Strobel episode, it was just an awesome opportunity to hear two great men of God talk together. I am very grateful for the time and energy you all are putting into this and want to thank you 😊

I am loving the podcasts! It's such a blessing that TCC would add this task to your busy schedules. This one is a gem. I have shared it with a relative that mentors the pastor at his church. Thank you, Kyle, for sharing so many secrets. Maybe I will try to listen to one of your sermons "on 2X". 😊
