What a.beautiful song. Truly, we are missing you dearest Claude, since you left us on 26.06.2021. But we are hopeful we will meet again when your sons Neville, Savio, Franz and l will cross over the great divide. Till then be happy and content to be with our loving Jesus who gave his life for us.🙏🏻

One thing about Merles songs and all the other legends of that era when country music was country music you can understand every lyric that was being said and the music as well UNLIKE TODAYS SO CALLED COUNTRY MUSIC YOU CAN'T UNDERSTAND IT and the Music is like Heavy Metal Rock & Roll to me anyway. THANK YOU KZread FOR SHARING THE OLD TRADITIONAL COUNTRY MUSIC

Merle IS my shelter from the storms. He is my Valium..a place to find solitude when elsewhere is falling apart in our world. He is the angel in this universe ✨️ 💖. His voice is as smooth as gold, as lilting as songbirds songs and as meaningful as the Bible hands down. He brings me to my knees at times. His boys are amazingly talented as well. Marty, Noel and Ben...bringing similar vibes. Thank you all dear ones.🎉

If I Was A Drinkin' Man" If I was a drinkin' man like I used to be I'd get myself a bottle and you'd be history You made me a thinkin' man when you walked out If I was a drinkin' man, I wouldn't need you now I've learned to live without you, one day at a time Even though you're always on my mind There's a bar around the corner if I wanted to forget But I ain't givin' up on our love yet If I was a drinkin' man like I used to be I'd get myself a bottle and you'd be history You made me a thinkin' man when you walked out If I was a drinkin' man, I wouldn't need you now Knowin' me like you do the kind of fool I've been You probably think I'm three sheets to the wind I wish that I could tell you that I'm feelin' no pain Oh you should see how much I've changed If I was a drinkin' man like I used to be I'd get myself a bottle and you'd be history You made me a thinkin' man when you walked out If I was a drinkin' man I wouldn't need you now If I was a drinkin' man I wouldn't need you now

There's a full moon over Tulsa I hope that it's shining on you The nights are getting cold In Cherokee County There's a Blue Norther passing through I remember green eyes and a ranchers daughter But remember is all that I do Losing you left a pretty good cowboy With nothing to hold on to Sundown came and I drove to town And drank a drink or two You're the reason God made Oklahoma You're the reason God made Oklahoma And I'm sure missing you I'm sure missing you Here the city lights out shine the moon I was just now thinking of you Sometimes when the wind blows you can see the mountains And all the way to Malibu Everyone's a star here in L.A. County You oughta see the things that they do All the cowboys down on the Sunset Strip Wish that they could be like you The Santa Monica Freeway Sometimes makes a country girl blue You're the reason God made Oklahoma You're the reason God made Oklahoma And I'm sure missing you I work 10 hours on a John Deere tractor Just thinking of you all day I've got a calico cat and a two room flat On a street in West L.A. You're the reason God made Oklahoma You're the reason God made Oklahoma And I'm sure missing you I'm sure missing you
