  Shoe stores are a more unique niche and require a sizing matrix but relatively simple inventory and reporting features. For this type of business, we'd recommend looking into Square, Lightspeed, or OVII.

  You can buy the ESLs outright but you'll likely need a cloud-based POS to pair with the labels. Otherwise changing your prices will be a major ordeal and prone to errors.

  ​@@Combase-usa I'm in manufacturing, I have a till drawer and can sell from our POS system but we discourage that and rarely do so, less than 1% of our business is done as a "retail" transaction like this. Regardless I want the smart tags for invintory and to notify employees of how many units are needed and such not to display pricing. I want the shelf to say there are 13 of widget x and if there are 10 I want the employee to scan a qr code to notify someone of the discrepancy. I want to blink the led on widget y so employee can know where to grab it. I want another tag to indicate we got a new order for gizmo z and to build 72 of them. I'm ok doing all the work on the back end, if I can just have some api to shove the label graphics at or blink codes at. What would you recommend? Also cloud based anything is pretty much a non starter, if you cant run your device you don't own it, I'm not going to rent smart tags, especially ones that turn into bricks when private finance buys you out, merges you with three other smart tag systems and turns off the cloud on these devices. Even if the cloud services are free, if you cant self host it anyone with half a brain won't bother.

  Is there a way to apply a fee to a product like a bottle deposit, which is non-taxable. Liiquor store & beverage containers items in Nova Scotia, Canada all have a bottle deposit which differs for each item (24 packs = $2.40, 6 packs = .60¢, 1 bottle (some are .10¢ and others are .20¢, etc) Tax is applied to the alcohol, but not the deposit fee. Some may have the same situation when selling electronics with the EHF - Environmental handling fee which also has no tax.

  The editing makes u seem like ur talking too fast and too much and it’s hard to digest the information fluently, and it comes off a bit robotic. U got a lot of information but it’s been delivered fast and packed with not much time between and examples to digest.

  Hey Sophia! In a case like that KORONA POS probably isn't your best bet. There are some simple card reader options out there that will allow you to process payments. KORONA POS is better for businesses that need more in-depth reporting and inventory management. We hope that helps!
