  So I don't want to sound negative but I used to go there every other summer growing up. It was fun and probably was a minor factor in my love for animals and wildlife. However after the last time I went when I was probably 13 and subsequent years of thinking it over I have this to say Pros: it has a wide variety of animals from Africa Asia and North America. It has a huge safari drive thru area. With attached enclosures for certain species and it felt like Jurassic park with the gates between sections. It has alot of things for kids 12 and under. Their animal shows are insightful and entertaining (depending on the presenter) They Claim to have the most successful Asian elephant conservation program in Canada Cons: The prices for entry are ridiculous if you're paying for multiple adults unless you saved up enough for you and your friends or family with adult children (if you pool together then it might be fine) The Safari park has minimum security watching to make sure people don't lock their doors and windows incase of accidents, yes they have signs but only 30% if people might actually follow these rules or read them. If you ask me give people a band that costs 5$ that will allow them to ride the tour buses until the end of the day or a limit of 3 times per day. Whose idea was it to mix Bears and baboons? That always seemed weird to me on continued visits. Aside from the Game reserves that are part of the drive thru Safari, the rest of the Zoo part is a bit underwhelming if you expect large enclosures for Every animal or bird. This isn't a professional review nor do I want to dissuade people from going and enjoying the Park, I just felt like sharing my experience and opinion. I will say when I was a kid and sitting in their diner/restaurant I felt like I really was as an African nature preserve and I enjoyed going. Buut most likely this summer of 2024 I'm going to take the extra half hour to an hour to go to Toronto Zoo. Hope everyone who reads this had a great day ^~^
