@@mrperea505 Nah, you have to mess up for that to happen. Just like you CAN use bondo correctly and do great work, or you CAN have it bubble up, and ruin your work/paint/clear coat. If you suck, you CAN ruin clear or paint by ceramic coating, but if you're as good as you should be (which isn't even very good) it won't be a problem.
@tricitiesdetail9 күн бұрын
Ceramic coatings do not remove clearcoat, the process “paint correction “ removes damaged clearcoat which is from swirls and spiderwebs. The amount of clear coat removed varies from 1 micron to several microns. Most factory finishes average 120 microns. So a few removed is not an issue. The ceramic coating itself it’s a sacrificial barrier between the outside elements and the clearcoat to give additional protection from UV damage, big and bird droppings and makes it easier to wash. A ceramic coating itself does not take off clear coat it adds to it. Hope that helped!

2 questions, how is that any different than what I just explained? Aside from taking a couple of other precautions. 2 how will this process attract dirt faster? If you are implying that black out attracts dirt then you would be wrong. When it dries its not sticky or tacky and doesn't attract dirt.

@@tricitiesdetail respectfully I disagree with your method. WD-40 is indeed more a solvent than it is a lubricant. But if are using WD-40 for solvent purposes you might as well just use gasoline. WD-40 when dry leaves a shiny dry coating in the engine bay. When you drive the car and heat up that thin later it warms up and causes all kinds of dust to collect quicker. The solvent in WD-40 is hard on the wiring harness and connections. When you need to clean an engine bay, it is best to just use the correct tool for the job. Engine degreaser.

One of the easiest ways to bid on any job any kind of job. Is to keep all your receipts and pay for all your materials no matter what kind of job it is. At end at the end of the job turn in all your receipts to your homeowner and get reimbursed. Then keep track of your hours for all your employees. Then add all of them up together and turn that bill into your customer. That way the customer pays for the material and the hours 👌. 😊
