  New Orleanian here, locals DO in fact go to and prefer Cafe Du Monde's beignets. We actually hate morning call beignets, they were voted out of city park due to locals' disdain for their beignets. I have a feeling your uber driver may be a local, but not born and raised in NOLA.

  How often do the earthquake alarms happen? Cdmx seems like my ideal city. my only concerns are air quality, earthquakes, and the friggin volcano nearby. You know, basically just not dying or being badly mamed 😂. I bike a lot too so id always be outside.

  New subscriber here and I love your blog!! As a woman of faith it’s so great and refreshing to see how you stepped out on faith and still honor God through it all. I am trying to decide where I want to move out of the county and I am also a grandma so it’s good to see travel content that’s not centered around partying and drinking. I am good with a good adventure and tacos and calling it a night. I lived in SD, Cali as well and I am a huge taco lover. Also, i love how walkable Mexico City is. When I went I was in awe of how big and robust the city it. It is deff on my list. I was also in fashion Stylist in Cali so seeing you on set brings back such great memories! Praying that God continues to move in your life and excited for what else he has in store. ❤

  I look Dominican but I’m black/white only speak English I’m trying to move closer to home(riverside,ca) my job has an opening in California. Do you think I would make it out there? I would be able to drive back home that 3 hours whenever I want but far as culture would I be accepted? Would I have to worry about cartel or anything like that?
