Fix it Flip

Fix it Flip

My name is Flip and this is my channel all about the projects I do all over my house. I do everything from fixing up the interior of my house to putting new shingles on my shed, but I especially love working outside on my lawn mower and in my yard. My hope with this channel is that I can help people accomplish projects on their own by explaining how to do things in a way that is simple and straightforward. My goal is that I help people become more self-sufficient and help them save money.

    I can't believe that they still haven't fixed the screech whine of the drive. I returned a mower because of it and, apparently, I still won't be buying an EGO!

    I’ve seen that before. They piece different parts in the factory. Either a newer seat was put on or it’s a 2013 with a few older parts put on.

    Back in the 80s it was called a garden weasel, does not work in wet soil, and don't use upside down, the tines are meant to cross and chop up the weeds or grass. Yes I have one.

  • @fixitFlip

  • @cameranmanner4701
    @cameranmanner47015 күн бұрын

    @@fixitFlip that's promising there may be a way to retrofit these batteries. My fear is these new companies trap you into a battery platform and they quickly fold leaving you with a 300$ anchor when the battery fails.

    I seriously can't thank you enough for posting this! I have the exact same faucet and it was super stiff. I knew the posts under the handles had to turn, but was afraid I'd do it wrong and break them. I actually used silicon spray for under the handle and inside to lubricate and protect against corrosion.

    I just went through all this and when I went to put the deck back on, it ended up with one end being further back than the other. To where the levers that attach to the deck to lift it up and down only matched on one side. I don't know if attaching the idle spring first made it pull to one side more causing the deck to be slightly diagonal, but it started pouring rain and I had to detach everything and will have to try again tomorrow.

    Thanks, Chuck! We actually have an All American Sharpener in the garage where I do groundskeeping. My buddy at work loves using it. I just prefer to do it by hand. Just a matter of preference I guess, but they do give you a precise angle for sure. I just don't normally take the time to hook it up.
