  4:44:58 my worst pain was when I had 1) a migraine 2) a stomach bug 3) my period all at the same time. Absolutely brutal and no meds helped. I just had to ride it out.

  hey dag ! i just want you to know, during the summer a couple years ago, your videos helped me get through it all, i was incredibly sick for months and couldnt leave my house, but your vods got me through it, your vids continue to excit and bring joy to me, as well as inspire me to finish all my museums again

  30°C is high temp in germany. when we were in turkey on vacation a few years back 40°C was chilling in your room with the ac on and only going out after dinner because otherwise you'd get a heatstroke and/or severe sunburn

  1:20:00 about the phenomenon of doing something enjoyable and then immediately sinking into depression or loneliness... it's more accurate to think of happiness vs sadness not as opposites on a spectrum, but both as "high emotional arousal" states. If you're all happy and excited, to your brain it's not much different from any other extreme emotion and when you're experiencing one, it's so much easier to experience another shortly thereafter than if you were in a neutral emotional state.
