Anyone ever play the game "drink along with Ray?" Every time he says fantastic you take a shot. The more dangerous game is taking a shot whenever he says fantastic or delicious

Mr. Mears in your simple hand drawn map @ 3:07 in the very beginning of this video you forgot a whole other mountain range: The Cascades. Their southern tip starts just north of where the Sierra Nevada end and they run almost on the same alignment up north through the states of Oregon and Washington up across the Canadian border into British Columbia. If you want get very technical the Sierra Nevada and the Oregon Cascades are separated by another small mountain range called the Siskiyous, then heading north the mountain split into two a coastal range to the West and the Cascades run south to North in the center of the state basically splitting Oregon in half. But that's way more complicated than you want to go just thought I would let you know that you forgot the Cascades on your map. I live in Oregon by the way

I love these guys, and thier philosophy. I grew up building and camping in shelters in the woodlands of the UK based on Ray's depictions in these sorts of documentaries. This one is a bit strange, more of a history lesson than a survival show. I'd really like to see some scenes with the local people that they keep talking about. Did Ray just beak out a tent made of plastic....lol

The River Wye and its surrounding areas are truly stunning, an absolute jewel of natural beauty. The river itself, sadly is in serious decline due to rampant pollution from agricultural runoff off and pollution from our water companies. I urge you to support River Action UK who are actively trying to address the problem

If your watching this keep in mind the importance of a third place. Throughout history humans have always had a third place, whether that was in front of a fire, hunting or the pub. We need a third place for our spirit to air. Social media is not a third place and the rise of mental health issues has also coincided with the loss of the third space in many peoples life's. Fishing walking, bird watching, painting/ drawing, socialising in person, you need it.
