V-drive vs jet is not a fair match. Jet wastes so much energy moving water vs the v-drive. Not to mention having that trim on the jet pointed at the sky.

That pickle fork was fast but not nearly as cool as rooster tail. Not as fun either pickle forks are only good for strait

If he would learn what trimming the jet was for her would have been faster. Jet-o-vators weren't designed to "look cool" throwing and absurd roost. Plus it looks ridiculous when it's trimmed too much and when people just think they look cool making passes with an over trimmed place diverter.

Never ceases to amaze me when guys think they look cool pointing a fire hose in the air and calling it a "rooster tail"". Just silly ass wannabes. If you want to throw a genuine rooster tail, the ONLY way to do it is to run a prop on the surface like this: kzread.info/dash/bejne/a3h_2NKgkcmfp7Q.html . Throwing all your thrust away just makes you look lame.

Cameraman loved the jet. A typical jet slow, loud and relatively easy to drive. The flatbottom (hardest to drive) and the picklefork we're the true boats.

david schmidt that's great Dave . than you should know that it's water , not smoke . most any flatty should beat a jet in a race . if you read the title of the vid ,it's PLAYIN on the river . we never raced , why would I , buddies pickle would clearly kill me! I wish I had a dollar for all the guy that said they had a faster ,better ,more expensive toy, but nobody ever see's it. So were can we see your ,sorry I didn't get what kind, boat at 107?? You may also want to research how a jet works ,the height of the place divertor (they haven't used jetovators in a few years now) just changes the attitude of the boat. The name of the game that day was "wheelies".. To bad one couldn't adjust some peoples attitude as easily.
