I watched your video last night and this afternoon I thought I would try it. I have been wanting to do this envelope for ages. Thank you. It worked fine. I cut down the the long flaps so that there was a 1/4 in seam down the middle to cut bulk.
This is 🤩 amazing! I can’t imagine how long it took to create it.
Beautiful 🤩
This is a masterpiece! Thank you for all the info.
Fabulous tutorial & very easy to follow.
Do you have information on the Angel Policy for Recollections? I have been collecting these papers for years and finally want to sell some of my collages. Recently I have been made aware of the limitations imposed by various companies on the use of scrapbooking paper in products to sell. Thanks for any info or links you have! Great channel!!

Hi, Dorothy! I purchased the magnets on Amazon. Here is the link: amzn.to/49k3Omr Thanks so much for watching! 🥰

@@TheresaBrown and I used one of the fancy window stickers on my cover . I have 4 more & I love the way you made yours with clear plastic so it can be a slid/pocket. Lots of cool inspiration (: I will be doing covers with them - with your idea 💡
@kaycfox3013 Thank you for sharing, Kay! You just made my day, knowing that I inspired you in some way! Do you have a video or photo of your journal posted somewhere? I would love to see it! 😍💕

You did a really good job. I found a 1949 book and I'm not sure how I want to make it into a junk journal

It may take sometime if I ever decide how I want to do it or find someone to make it for me. It's always fun to have someone make something for you. Idk yet what I'm going to do
That’s gorgeous ❤
Awww, thank you so much!! 🥰
I'm rewatching this when cut the bags down is it 8inch or 81/2inches
8” inches when cut. Happy crafting! 🥰

It looks so stunning, for sure need to try!
Thank you so much! Happy crafting!!! 🥰
Very nice!
Thank you so much, Pamela! Happy crafting!! 🥰
Excellent tutorial. Mini slimline cards have become a favourite size of mine. Here in the UK the envelopes are pricey. Thank you for sharing.
You’re very welcome! I love making mini slimline cards too. For me, they offer just the right amount of space for embellishment. Happy crafting and thanks so much for watching! 🥰
This is beautiful. I saved this video because it has definitely inspired me to do something similar for my grandchildren.
That makes my heart happy!! Thank you so much for watching, Rebecca! 🥰
Very impressive results Theresa! I love the subtle variations you achieved in color and texture. You made the entire process very easy to understand and simple to replicate. Incredible work as usual!
I am so glad you enjoyed my video! I am working on another paper dying video that will be up next week where I try some viewer suggestions and am excited to share the results with you! Thanks so much for watching!! 🥰
Winston is totally handsome! Thank you for the tutorial. You come up with gorgeous projects.
You are so welcome, Nicole! Today I will be filming a project using the avocado dyed papers so please come back soon to see what I made! Thanks so much for watching!! 🥰🐶💕
Instead of avocados, what else could be used? Love the finished product!
Thank you so much, JoJo! I am currently working on another paper dying video where I try some viewer suggested techniques and use other dying solutions to achieve different colors so please come back for that soon! Hugs!! 🥰
Gorgeous and great tutorial. I have seen lots of these avacado dying tutorials but yours is so awesome. I never knew that baking soda effected the color. Also, I do wonder if you could put something heavy on top of the placemats to get a better impression, made me think.... Not that I don't like a faint or less clear print. I like a variety, too. I have used tea with my placemats and some give only a faint transfer. I never thought, until watching yours, to try adding weight to the top. Thanks again for an awesome video and inspiration! I am a new subscriber, now!
Thank you so much and welcome to my crafty family! I'm so glad you found value in my video! I love your idea to try placing something heavy on top! I am currently working on a video trying out some viewer suggested techniques as well as different dye options so please look for that next week! Hugs!! 🥰
Excellent tutorial. Your explanations were spot on. I will never throw out my avocado peels and stones without trying this. Why didn’t you use the right sides of the placemats?
Thank you so much, Gladys! I'm so glad you were inspired by my video! It has always been my belief that using the smooth side of the placemat results in a clearer impression as more of the surface is in contact with the paper. That said, I am now curious what the result would be with the topside down 🤔! I am currently experimenting with more paper dying techniques and color options and will definitely try it out! I really appreciate you watching and taking the time to leave me a comment!! 🥰
t Thankyou❤
You're very welcome! Thanks so much for watching!! 🥰
The idea is great and very practical altogether . Love your papers , they would do beautiful journal covers if laminated or mounted on grey cardboard and coated with waterproof varnish . I use food dye , red onion peels ( they wont smell if you add some lemon juice while boiling ) , as well beetroot and black cherries ( they were to be thrown away at the supermarket and I asked if I can have a box of them , worked great ) . Gorgeous Winston❤ I have one Winston too lol only he is a cat and a brat .
Thank you so much, Karmina! I love your suggested uses! I will be filming a video today of a project I made using the avocado dyed papers so please look for that soon! I am also working on another paper dying video trying out some viewer suggestions as well as other dye options and I appreciate you inspiring me to try some things I had not considered! Sending love you you and your Winston! 🥰😸💕
Has anyone tried beet juice for similar effects on paper?
Hello, Deborah! I am currently working on another paper dying video trying out some viewer suggestions as well as other dye options so please look for that next week! Thanks so much for watching!! 🥰
Love it!
Awww, I'm so glad, Annie! Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to leave me a comment!! 🥰
