Thanks for checking out my channel! I'm a former social media producer turned adventurer and explorer. For many years, I've visited different parts of South Florida that I (and others) thought were cool. So I had an idea ... what if I take you all along with me as I travel around my home state and abroad.
My favorite places to explore include national parks, spaces with very little light pollution for star gazing, and theme parks. Occasionally, I'll take you along to an event or even chase a big hurricane!
So, sit back and relax as you consume my videos and hopefully feel motivated to go out and explore.

Great video, thanks :)
Looked a roundtrip with a roomette and it was like $1500 for 2 people. Thats insane. Could fly for less than half that.
Hell no it's not worth it because I paid for it both going and coming back and didn't get it either way and they refused to refund it
Full face motocross helmets, chest protector, and goggles would be better protection.
Can you go to the Panthers Stanley cup parade so that you can send a video
I plan to!

23 years ago it was a happening place.
What an opportunity to turn it into a great housing community - there's already parking and room for stores that will support the people living there, who in turn would patronize those stores. I hope they re-imagine the place, instead of tearing it down and building all new. it's got a cool layout and I think it would be a good upcycle.
this will turn into a nice development property
bet the rents are overpriced while they sit empty
I was there in 1999 when it was opened, as it was so beautiful that it used to have shops like Virgin Megastore, Niketown, FAO Schwarz, Sweet Donna's Country Store Restaurant and Bakery, the Rainforest Cafe esque type, Z Gallerie, Splitsville, Old Navy, Disney Store and Johnny Rockets among others. Since 1999, it used to have Banyan trees and laser shows. I miss those Goodtimes and I have hopes that something new will take place while keeping AMC theaters, Gametime and Barnes and Noble.
North of Miami where was a mall called the Fashion mall that closed. It was next to another mall that had better parking and more shops.
We got the gta 6 map before gta 6
Imagine your apartment being in gta 6 🤣
Nothing less than $1980/mo for 480 sq ft on their site
HOT TOPIC, IMAX, NIKE TOWN, GAME WORKS, JOHNNY ROCKETS, WILDERNESS CAFE, HOLLISTER, VIRGIN RECORDS, the store with the halfpipe in it lol, so many memories growing up in south miami / gables :/
awesome video thanks Joel!!
Yeah it’s really sad. Sunset used to be my parents go to mall for the movies and Halloween decoration and I always loved the way sunset looks. It has a very beautiful vibe. It’s just sad to see it die.
joel you look beefy in this vid bro
ohh
Wish they could do something like this at Yankee Stadium; of course they'd probably clip you about three times as much as they charge in Miami.
dang! recall taking my son there when he was just a baby and it was booming with business ✊😉, this economy is going to crap and another 4 more years of this nonsense (inflation) is going to cause even more businesses to close down SMH! ✋😟🤚
I can’t believe they’ve modelled a city after a GTA trailer…good watch, buddy. Well made
I used to go this mall all the time when I was in my early 20s. In the early 2000s it was one of the best places in miami. Movie theater was great. Bowling alley. Crepe maker was popular. La fitness. Live music. Always very very busy. Sad to see how quickly it has changed
That’s so interesting, thanks man
Yo that's sick
Very impressed with the commanding officer and this new technology. I served aboard an 688 class sub back in the late eighties/early nineties. We, have come a long way. God bless the new guys. Hold it down fellas.
I plan to stick to hero 8 blk.
The last safe place on earth if Putin goes completely batsht crazy.
how much did you spend on the boats? i kinda wanna do that now
Good video bro
great video man. i love your coverage of south florida. the new, the old, the culture, the joys, the tears. wonderful stuff!
No airfield? Did I miss that one?
You’re probably thinking about Witham Field? That’s up in Stuart near the museum I showed at end of video.
Oh ! And a rainforest cafe !
There was an FAO Schwartz and a virgin records also.
Canada could never 😂😂
California 🤜American
$ 104.00 PLUS TAX. NOT BAD FOR A PRO GAME. GAME AND ALL YOU CAN EAT AND DRINK. FOR 2 . I PAY $ 37.00 FOR TRIPLE A TICKET AND 1 DRINK AND A HOT DOG. PLUS $10.00 PARKING.
OMG! YOU NEED TO GO BACK THERE NOW! THEY MOVED IT NEXT DOOR AND NOW ITS EVEN SMALLER.!!
YOU NEED TO DO ANOTHER VIDEO THERE TO PROMOTW ADOPTION
I think it's a big waste of money! They could've improved the city in better ways with all that money!!
Nevada is pronounced "neh-VAA-duh", not "neh-VAH-duh" like you pronounced. The way you pronounced it is the Old English way in which local Nevadans nowadays don't pronounce it.
Live in Tampa. Never been to Miami, but I’ve been to an outside mall that was just like this in Bradenton I think? Seems like a cool place to go to get away from people and walk.
7:32 nothing Rockstar does is a coincidence
It was huge in the y2k era. It was the spot for um students and hs kids all around. The last time it was at capacity was probably 2008. After the recession, it started dying. The glass tower by the la fitness was a nike town and i think a virgin records store next door. I went to the opening of the LA fitness probably in 04' as a kid with an older cousin. Dan Marino owned a big restaurant next to the Barnes and Nobles. There was a giant fake banyan tree next to it with lights playing jungle sounds. All the kids on fridays met up at the Johnny Rockets. It was always busy on the weekends. Not to mention the vans store that had a half pipe!🔥.. if u grew up in sw dade that was the chill plan.
As a teenager i would drive from Broward to the Virgin Megastore here to get hard to find import CDs and records! Amazing memories! Such a shame its gone so far downhill! 😢
So how much money did u end u eating then?
Naaa that's gta vice city😂
I remember along time ago it used to be open and you can drive way back there, but there was a young kid killed back there and then that’s when they closed it off, pretty sure the cross in the beginning of the video is the spot where they found his body by the canal. RIP Jesus 🙏🏽
