Hi Amelie. Really love your cat.just a quick question please, when you rubbed out the lines I couldn’t see if you used the base grey all over the ear or just where the ginger would be. Also same with the pink colour . Do you have a Patreon class? 👍🥰

Beautifully done. Which pencils are you using? Oops sorry, I have just seen, polychromos, fantastic- they are beautiful pencils. I only have a 24‘er set though. I thought at first you were drawing on Pastelmat. I have also seen that you did a part 1 as well, awesome! I have to watch that too. Your eyes are so perfect. I have the prismacolor pencils and I swear on the third or fourth layer things start to feel way too soft. I end up giving up because I can’t get the smooth look. Hoping the polychromos will be easier to layer. Love your tutorials!

Hi Amelie, I just discovered your channel today. My birthday. Your doing amazing work. So inspiring, and that’s what I need right now. I’m looking forward t learning more from you on this journey. I am just beginning my colour pencil journey having been doing a lot graphite and charcoal drawing over the years. So I am on a fairly steep learning curve, but really enjoying it. I have always used the grid method along with my proportional dividers for proportional accuracy. I do try free hand sometimes and will continue to practice but as you say it is very difficult to risk the accuracy we need unless one is particularly gifted there. I have my first out line down, so my rubber is just about to meet the road, with the colour pencils. Can I just ask about the sizes you restrict yourself to, also if you do want to upscale slightly, how would you go about that? My printer only goes up to A4. Could go on but I better stop here. Hi Ron, happy birthday!!! I’m so glad you have come across my channel. Rather than printing out the reference and tracing it, I now use an app called Da Vinci Eye which enables me to look through my phone and trace the outline that way. You can adjust the image size so works for any drawing size! I hope that helps 😁 Alternatively, in the past if I was doing A3, I’d print the photo out in two halves.
