you should narrate... the content should be more of a novelle. it is at times entertaining, certainly some views are spectacular, but without context, rarely enough... the actual format is more of a bragging right then a form of entertainment (youtube audience). don't mean to offend. just my 2 cents...

No offense taken, I understand what you mean. When I was thinking about getting a 32:9 Monitor I looked up these Videos on youtube and saw how games looked with it and that sold me. Its not really ment to entertain but to show how many games can run 32:9 just fine. And seeing how they look and how the HUD handles the resolution is very interesting at least for me.

I have known this Game for at least 15 Years but it was until YESTERDAY, when I actually played it the first time. And man... the gameplay is so fun and I just loive the graphics. Those old low poly environments and the simple textures. The Music is awesome as well! You are working on the soundtrack? Are you making a mod ?

yea.. I am struggling as well. it looks better in the video actually than when I play it. I bought a 4070 super and a new CPU yesterday so I am ready for STALKER 2 as well. I think now is a good time to make an upgrade because the prices are very decent.

It actually may look better in the video. Performance definitely needs to be worked on. I am not sure if the giant draw distance is needed - I think having an option for that would help a lot. I am also hoping for a driver update by Nvidia on this one.

I like the look of the game and the gameplay seems fun enough - I wanted to keep it BUT there is an issue with Weapon FOV in the game as you can see by the end of the video. The DEVS dont seem to fix it despite my report, so I am refunding until the issue is fixed.

Man, playing with resolution like this would make my eyes pop out from my skull and explode. Seriously, just looking at the video it gives me headache and makes me dizzy. So I have no idea, how many people are playing with monitors this wide. You probably have some special eyes or something, I don't know. And I still prefer the square 1280x1024 monitor. Not the old ones that looks like TV but more modern ones, like Samsung SyncMaster 940bf for example.

And so I decided to get 1280x1024 monitor. It is also good for retro gaming and for gaming of previous decades.

don't want to complain too much, but I think the initial lack of high-quality option might be hurting the channel; When yt didn't process the vid yet, it shows only in 360p and sometimes it can take half a day to get it in fullHD. So initially when yt shows the video in propositions, people can see only lowest quality version of it, so they switch of pretty fast and vid doesn't get any more push from algoritm 🤔 might be a good idea to set it as planned for the next day, just to make sure that yt fully processed it when it shows up for subscribers etc.

hmm so it's kinda forcing wider angle just by the resolution itself, you can see a bit more around than I can in 1440p :)

yea I can always see more than normal screen users. But the FOV isnt altered so the view is zoomed in most of the time. Especially with older games.

hey I was wondering - If you have a game with super small fov and that can't be changed in options, does this screen res automatically make it wider? Maybe you could do a long gameplay from the first Sniper: Ghost Warrior? that game has super narrow fov, and there's no option to change it, no notepad trick, no mods, nothing - I was looking for a long time but it seems like nobody knows how to change it; So I was wondering if that screen res would force higher fov :)

hey man, no - I tried that too. The Screen Ratio actually lowers the FOV in many games by default. Thats why I am often looking for FOV tweaks. I will try again with Sniper Ghost Warrior. But I think It didnt run properly.

Command and Conquer Red Alert 2/Yuri Revenge also runs at 5120x1440 which is wild. The only issue are the hud is tiny and you have to look all over the screen but the fact it works great and looks fantastic shows how good that artstyle is.
