Had the bow set up at a pro shop. It performed just fine kzread.infoUgkxQEKUoxLWwayEDZR0NKB-5limn4MBU-2L . And I would say this is a good starting now that I could pass down to my son when he is older. But the package was missing the release and a nock was missing from one arrow.Dealing with customer support was terrible. They suggested I buy a new release rather than correct their own quality control issue because it’s to expensive for the. to ship it out from China.Update: manufacturer got back to me and resolved the issue. I retract the above statement.

I don't get why use bow on bison. A high powered rifle less walking to get animal. A factor with bow you shoot one arrow perfectly in heart it runs a ways or you put in 2nd arrow takes a minute to drop still. I a high powered handgun or rifle out performs a bow. I don't get why some boy hunters can't admit it. I just feel like there is to much room for error with a bow.

50 yards? Man... That's a long shot for a bow. Even a modern bow, that arrow has too much travel time.

I shoot on a lower poundage and just killed my first deer with a bow today. On a 20 yard shot pulling abt 50 pounds with a youth bow, I’ve been planning to aim at the point where the bottom of the deer meets the air. Do y’all agree with me??

I would love to go full circle on a buffalo Make the bow , the arrows , knap the points , hunt the buff on foot ... Hunting such an animal is a honor and a blessing and to actually kill and eat and use the hide , sinews , bones ... yes , there is a spiritual component Almost all the big game I have killed have been gift animals ... They give themselves ... it is very special in this day and age A human is half flesh , half spirit othereise they are only a half a person

If you watch the video frame by frame at :38 you can see the full arrow in the frame . If you watch the kill zone you can see it doesn't change till after the arrow is already past the deer . The shot was to high from the get go . It wasn't because the deer ducked . Here is a way to prove the deer's kill zone didn't move till after the arrow has pasted the deer . Cut a piece of paper from the edge of your frame screen to the kill zone of the deer . Start and stop the video and watch the arrow and the height of the kill zone . You will see the kill zone doesn't change till the arrow is past the deer . If you do this with any video you watch you can see for yourself the arrow is already through or past the deer before the kill zone of the deer changes . Its might look like the kill zone has moved enough to cause a miss but its a optical illusion because of the movement of the legs and the paper lined up with the kill zone shows. This video was hand held so there is vertical movement but if you watch videos shot from a tripod you can see a lot better that the arrows are past or through the deer's before the kill zone area of the deer moves . Sometimes you just have to admit your shot was way to high and stop blaming it on the deer ducking . At 1:13 in your video your showing a deer ducking but you don't show any arrow coming at it . Yes the deer is ducking but the arrow would have shown it would have already past through it before the ducking action takes place . Again at 1:51 in the video the kill zone doesn't change its location till after the arrow hits the deer . The shot again was way to high from the start and has nothing to do with the deer ducking . The bare stop on a deer back is because people like you are aiming to high . Again at 2:52 the arrow is already in the deer before it moves . Again at 3:12 frame by frame shows the arrow is way to high and passed the deer at eye level no where close to where it should be and again passed the deer before the duck happens . Again if you stop the video at 4:54 just right you can see the arrow is already in the deer and you can only see the nock before the deer moves at all . I hope people take the time to really see where the arrow is when the deer starts to duck . I think most people will agree the arrow has already past before the deer has a chance to duck so don't aim for a duck aim where you want to hit and if your arrow goes where you aim you will hit the deer in that exact spot every time . If you aim for a duck your going to miss a lot of deer and when you do you can thank the idiot in this video . Believe what you can see in the frame by frame not what someone doesn't want to see .

I bought a pair of endeavor hd 8x42’s for birding and hunting when they first came out because of reviews in several birding comparos’. These have been phenomenal binoculars and I am never without them when hunting or just sitting on my front porch watching my birds. I also made some solar filters for them with Baader film and used them for the solar eclipse back several years ago. It was a great experience. I just ordered a Vanguard 82a spotting scope from Adorama for $375, a phenomenal deal after being less impressed with a Zeiss dialyt spotter I got a good deal on used here locally. Count me 100% in the Vanguard camp. They receive my highest recommendation. By the way, I have Televue and Takahashi telescopes and Leica and Fujinon binoculars too, so I know what excellent optics look like. You will not go wrong with their products!!
