Hundyai is sending out notices to people with sonatas it's not a recall but they are extendeding the warranty to 15years..if anyone is having a problem with their power steering call hundyai customer care and the will check your Vin if u are covered under the warranty let hundyai fix this instead of u coming out of ur pocket..take it to a hundyai service center first and they will diagnose the issue

Thank you very much. I'm a do-it-yourselfer as well, but it's my first car with electric motor steering. I wouldn't have figured it out. Your explanation how to take the dash apart was clearer than the video (haha), but I had to figure out the right connector. My '16 Sonata has 4 wires ( I remember you said 3 on yours ). I disconnected it and pushed them into the connector from behind, then reconnected it. Worked like a charm. The hardest thing was getting the side panel back under the rubber weatherstripping, lol. Thanks again.

You did a great job! I'm originally from NYC and my property problems were nothing like these here in Florida. I had my tank clogged back in February and now I'm trying to look back to see if they drained it to or what. Now I'm having the same issue with it being clogged. Clogged by what I wonder you can say 2 and a half people use the bathrooms. I've used that snake thing in the emergency hatch and I used it in the pipe that goes into tank. Its like something is blocking it but i'M SAYING HOW CAN WHATEVER IT IS BE SOOO HARD when i'm using snake and then a stick and not a move. Toilet paper and crap get that hard? And Lord what you said about draining from the top of the will be a mission within itself. I'm looking thru receipts and asking questions cause I feel another $400-$500 for the same issue to pop up in a few months something definitely is working right..

If you've already ran a rotary snake through the system it should have un clogged especially with the cutting blade installed if you have someone listening while it running slowly you can generally tell where the clogged area is then dig it up and check for collapse pipe. Blessings on your endeavor

God bless you too but the company that is pumping out your septic tank is screwing you over if there happen to pump it 10 times in 10 years there's something wrong and it probably wasn't even full but they knew if they didn't say anything they could keep making money from you at the most it should be done every 3 to 5 years and that 3 years as if you have a huge family living in your house and a small septic tank you should try to sue them because if they are doing it to you they're doing it to probably 50 other people please do it for everyone else not yourself if you start to go fund me I'll make sure you have enough money to sue them and have a good lawyer and whatever you do do not call the same company to ever pump out your septic tank again they are liars and they're the kind of company that will break off your outlet baffle or so dirt in it to kill your drain field so they have the illusion of more work but most of the time they're so little mud right in the opening of the outlet baffle and say all we need to work on it it's going to take us a while and all they need to do is spray some water and clear the mud and they're good and you'll end up paying them thousands of dollars please don't go the same company and do whatever you need to do to sue him and like I said if you start a GoFundMe do so the company that has emptied your septic tank that many times I will pay for it

You should have your tank pumped every 3-5 years. Also, use Rid-X it has anaerobic bacteria that eats the solids in the tank. And every other month use bakers yeast. One packet in the toilet at night when everyone is sleeping and the bacteria will eat the yeast, and multiply like crazy.

That pipe is called orangeburg. Just had mine replaced with modern pvc. Cool little history lesson, they used to use cast iron. During the world War that metal was used in tanks and other weapons. So they had to come up with something else to use for housing plumbing. That is basically glorified cardboard. It has tar paper on the inside and it eventually gives up. Good for you fixing it! Hope all is well!
