Let the Bible do the Talking Who will proclaim the return of the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords? Would God leave this honor and ultimate privilege to a God dammed and cursed Corporate Christian Church Community? God forbid. Would God leave this blessed and glorious proclamation to the Scholarship and Scientific Sects of the world? God forbid. Maybe God will resurrect John the Baptist to announce once again the Lamb of God who taketh away the sins of the world. God forbid. God left this marvelous and holy declaration to all of the prophets. Yes, the prophets of the Bible speak in unison as God himself announced the appointed time. This Book the Bible is alive and the foundation of truth. God's living prophets (the eternal spiritual church of God) also have the privilege of honor and command as God's elect children to proclaim, "Christ has returned". Hebrews 4:12 For the Word of God is living and powerful and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Who can open the Holy Bible and not be cut to the heart? Even the unsaved cannot hide from the truth of Christ's return. It is too glorious not to see in the reading of the prophets of God on ink and paper or the proclamation of the living prophets (true elect spiritual children and church of God- the spiritual body of Christ himself). The world has been taught by the hearing of the Bible that the Son of God visited mankind through the birth of a virgin. And by the eternal forecouncil of Scripture, he was murdered by his own nation. And rose again from the dead to demonstrate that which took place at the foundation of the world-done in love for those that God will take into the eternal city in heaven. The High Priest of God Melchizedek laid down his life in obedience to the law of God. Hebrews 4:3 For we who have believed do enter into rest, as He said, “As I have sworn in My wrath, ‘If they shall enter into My rest’”-although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. God himself did that work. And God himself is proclaiming his return through his prophets. It is taught in the Bible by the words of God spoken through the prophets that the Son of God was taken up and a cloud received him. Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power after the Holy Ghost is come upon you; and ye shall be witnesses unto Me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” 9 And when He had spoken these things, while they beheld, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. 10 And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, 11 who also said, “Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who is taken up from you into Heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen Him go into Heaven.” The spiritual key to being able to proclaim the return of Christ is in the words "a cloud received Him,...so shall he come in like manner". That manner is also spoken of in: Matthew 26:64 Jesus said unto him, “Thou hast said; nevertheless I say unto you, hereafter shall ye see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of Power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.” Revelation 1:7 Behold, He cometh with clouds, and every eye shall see Him, and they also who pierced Him; and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of Him. Even so. Amen. God is insistent that He will return with clouds of glory. The word cloud has to be understood through the context of how God uses it. Here we see that the cloud points to the judgment of the law. Revelation 14: 14 And I looked, and behold, a white cloud; and upon the cloud sat one like unto the Son of Man, having on his head a golden crown and in his hand a sharp sickle. 15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, “Thrust in thy sickle and reap; for the time has come for thee to reap, for the harvest of the earth is ripe.” 16 And he that sat on the cloud (judgment seat) thrust in his sickle on the earth, and the earth was reaped. And in Ezekiel, We have that wonderful parable of the glory of God in a great cloud. Ezekiel 1: 4 And I looked, and behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud (the righteous of God), and a fire infolding itself; and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the color of amber (judgment), out of the midst of the fire. In the book of Job, Eliphaz tries to confuse Job with Job's own words. Job 22: 13 And thou sayest, ‘How doth God know? Can He judge through the dark cloud? (The answer is yes!) And through the prophet Isaiah God tells us a cloud may picture God's very will. It was the perfect will of God (by the seventh time) that the rain would come. 1st Kings 18: 44 And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, “Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man’s hand.”... And a hand points to the perfect will of God. Clouds can also point to salvation as God used the cloud to protect those He brought out of Egypt. Here in Exodus, the cloud points the the Gospel of Jesus Christ as God went before them through the judgment of God pictured by the Red Sea. Exodus 13: 21 And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud (The law of righteousness and salvation, Romans 8:3-4) to lead them the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, to go by day and night. Now that we have a very brief understanding clouds in the Bible may point to the Law, judgments, statutes, testimonies, commandments, precepts, or word, and even salvation. We must now turn to the word thunder as it is all too evident that Christ returned in a thundercloud (The Judgments of the Bible). Or the proclamation of judgment too loud for anyone to ignore. Even the deaf can feel the percussion of thunder in the depths of their soul. Isaiah 29: 6 Thou shalt be visited by the Lord of hosts with thunder and with earthquake and great noise, with storm and tempest and the flame of devouring fire. Job 40: 7 “Gird up thy loins now like a man; I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto Me. 8 Wilt thou also disannul My judgment? Wilt thou condemn Me, that thou mayest be righteous? 9 Hast thou an arm like God? Or canst thou thunder with a voice like Him? Psalm 104: 1-7 Bless the Lord, O my soul! O Lord my God, Thou art very great; Thou art clothed with honor and majesty- 2 who coverest Thyself with light as with a garment, who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain 3 who layeth the beams of His chambers in the waters, who maketh the clouds His chariot, who walketh upon the wings of the wind; 4 who maketh His angels spirits, His ministers a flaming fire; 5 who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should never be removed. 6 Thou covered it with the deep as with a garment; the waters stood above the mountains. 7 At Thy rebuke they fled; at the voice of Thy thunder they hastened away. In that passage, God tells us he makes the clouds his chariot or the word of the Bible his messengers. And what is more fearful than the sound of thunder? God's voice (in the Bible) as thunder. So where are the Christian Churches during this great and marvelous revelation of the return of Christ and righteous judgment of God? Decked out on a lounge chair and with the cup of the wrath of God in one hand and binoculars in the other hand trying to decide if it is a Cirrus cloud or an Altocumulus cloud or an Altostratus cloud or maybe even the northern lights that Christ will return on. Rots-a-ruck there. It is a great privilege for your humble servant to proclaim that all of the prophets here to fore are in complete harmony in proclaiming with the voice of God (The Bible) that Christ has returned in a thundercloud, the Word of God himself. So great a salvation for some. But judgment for most. Psalm 97: 97 The Lord reigneth, let the earth rejoice! Let the multitude of isles be glad thereof! 2 Clouds and darkness are round about Him; righteousness and judgment are the habitation of His throne. 3 A fire goeth before Him, and burneth up His enemies round about. 4 His lightnings enlightened the world; the earth saw and trembled. 5 The hills melted like wax at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth. 6 The heavens declare His righteousness, and all the people see His glory. If you truly are saved and want to see the return of Christ, Let the Bible do the talking.
