So, soak a cup of white rice 7+ hours or over night. Rinse three times until water is clear. Blend 1 cup of soaked rice with 2 cups of water for 5-7 minutes to get the batter.

1. Soak white rice for 7 hours / overnight. 2. Rinse the rice thrice. 3. Blend 1 cup of soaked rice with 2 cups of water to a find paste. 4. Boil water in a large pot. 5. Securely wrap a muslin cloth around the pot. 6. Keep a small opening to let the steam out from time to time. 7.Now pour the mixture gently unto the muslin cloth and evenly spread out in a circular motion. 8. Cover it and wait for a minute. 9. Gently scrap out the rice paper.

Also the stick-dip the stick in the steaming hot water to easily peel off the rice paper!!

I have been looking for a genuine person who would explain better how the rice paper is made coz I Was on the Verge of of blending rice before washing and roll into a thin dough after adding water to the blended rice which will be in powder 🥺😭😂

We make this in South Indian we grind with chilli and salt we sun dry them and eat fried as papad we call this ilai vadam. We also eat without stuffing too just steam them.

Did I hear correctly, soak rice overnight/7 hours, then drain the water of and rinse it 3 times? Then take damp rice and mix in blender/food processor, 1C rice, 2 C water? I couldn't make out what she said about 3 times if that was rinse or soak 3 more times.
