this project started back 2019, but still nothing much to show for it, what is the new plan, when are they planning to finish development, next 5 year or 10 years?

Dude I live in Rowlett Texas I live 2 minutes away from the project, they are working on this extremely fast. They already got half of the houses and apartments built up. It’s going to be so sick when it open hopefully by the end of 2023, or somewhere around 2024 spring time or summer. It’s going to be so amazing. Well at least I won’t have to drive my car down there. I can just ride my electric scooter over there!!!!

Sapphire bay will be nothing but townhomes and apartments for the rich. No public access to the "Big lagoon". No public access to the lake. It needed to stay a park. There have been 4 developers now that promise big things, but in truth, can't produce due to either disputes between the developers and the city as to what is being built, the challenges of the location structural integrity, and the residents challenging the city. They've been scrapped. The revised plan presented to the city by the developers, eliminates the "three most important differentiators" in the project: the lagoon, a one-acre show fountain and a trolley, the city announced in a press release.

Rowlett about to become "the next" Frisco? Just imagine if that "casino legislation" gets passed in both houses down in Austin! I'd love to see a "Caesars Palace styled" casino out on that peninsular! That would be awesome! 💯
