maynards voice was too much in the background at this concert. Same is true for Adams guitar.Base and drums were too dominant. 2019 in Berlin the whole gig was better regarding sound and atmosphere.

Additionally it was in general not loud enough and the stage in the venue was closed, so many seats were sold but empty because people left and watched the concert from the upper area

The island’s been changing and developing over the last 40 years. 30 years ago locals would express their displeasure at summer tourism. The redevelopment and gentrification has certainly improved Waiheke. It’s more vibrant. People are happier. There are more choices and opportunities. It’s also a lot safer. 30+ years ago Waiheke would attract sickness beneficiaries, criminals, drug addicts, unemployed, fugitives, outcasts of all kinds. Of course there were a few artists, musicians, new agers, poets, but there was always a dark cloud over Waiheke. It was basically cheaper and slower than the mainland (Auckland). Prosperity over stagnation any day 😊

good question! My understanding is that in more traditional businesses, they usually have much lower profit margins as they have to pay for cost of goods and have higher expenses. For example, a coffee company selling beans has to buy the beans, stock, rent of a shop, staff etc But our business, the expenses are much lower and the only cost of goods is us designing the program and the time on group calls when delivering the program (plus updating it and keeping it relevant). So if we spend 1 dollar and make 10, we get to keep around 8 dollars, where as the coffee business may only get to keep a 3 dollars after all the expenses have been paid.... The KPIs are based around the industry we're in, and each industry will have its own KPIs! Hope that makes sense

Its very stupid to do shuch large areas in one go, the owners are offshore and the workers live close by. Embarrassing thinking something the fast consent will exasperate.science and global economist are being branded shrills by vitriolic. All it would take is some thinking and planing, not dismissive sound bites. Science and global economist, telling about our wit and genuine interest in productivity. The fisharys would benifit from reserves and serious fines. To much pretonsous noise passes for credabile concerns and stwedship. Having said that, slash could be turned into bio char( burnt in the absence of oxygen) this deserves study and inovation on the part of those who wish to improve our lot. Bio char .a portabile fire box.

I've been coming here 40 years, its changed very little compared to the rest of NZ, and even less compared to the rest of the world. Waiheke is a victim of it's own success in that more people want to come here, therefore housing prices have increased and low wage workers, which Waiheke needs, have been priced out of the rental market, a problem common to 'tourist islands'. Someone entrepreneurial needs to address the demand for low cost worker housing, possibly some sort of dorm for seasonal workers or cohab space.

I grew up on waiheke and am pissed of that it's gone from a hippy and working class community into a trendy auckland suburb. Stoneybatter was never locked up, spent heaps of time in those tunnels and never has to pay. I worked with Roger and he was one of the nicest guys ever, a true Waihekian. Live on Aotea Great Barrier island now and am seeing the beginnings of wealth creeping into the community raising the cost of property and eating away at its character. These colonizers need to fack off.

Hi guys. I think your attitude is absolutely right. You produced a piece of work that was taken completely seriously by Netflix in terms of what you delivered to them. Take their notes and use them when you approach other streamers and broadcasters. Make a point, perhaps, that it’s made by outsiders about outsiders. Everyone gets rejections, and as you have done you should be delighted that you got in the room. Nigel
