    I was wondering, could you do a quick rundown of the differences in the feel of skating between 4x100, 5x80 and 4x90mm? I am planning to buy new frames, I currently own 4x90, and I wonder how the other two compare.

  • @ngaugeblading9690
    @ngaugeblading96902 жыл бұрын

    For reference I use an EU46 boot so the experience might be different for you 4x100 great for all round stuff like general skating, wizard stuff and jumping around. You won't feel too much of difference coming from 90mm less that is a flat frame and not rockered. 5x80 - great for wizard moves. Very maneuverable. Doing wizard moves feel a lot more smoother and more controlled than a 4x100. Not as versatile as the 4x100 in terms of general skating but still possible to just skate around in them I think you meant the 5x90? - there is a definite size and weight difference to the other ones. I would recommend only using those if you have stiff boots like the Seba boots as they require more power and effort to manoeuvre. The bigger your foot I would say the easier it is to control them though. They are good for general skating those as they have bigger wheels and the 5 wheels makes for a smoother ride.

  • @Verithiell
    @Verithiell2 жыл бұрын

    @@ngaugeblading9690 hmm, I have 4x90, 5x90 is out of the question, too ridiculously long. I am on the fence between 5x80 and 4x100, I very much like skating around the city, so 100s would be neat, or perhaps even 110, but I also want to get deep into wizardry... I was wondering about 100s compared to 90s mostly because the frame is a bit longer. But I wonder how much of a difference it would make in terms of stability. I am a bit clumsy, so the more stable, the better.

    @@Verithiell I've never tried 4x90. I've tried 4x80 and they were too short for my boot length in my opinion. I would imagine the 4x90s may be on the cusp of not still too short for me. If you want to be able to have a good skate to skate around the city but also he able to do wizard moves then I would go for the 4x100. The added length will give you more stability as well. If you do get into wizard skating then I would suggest looking at getting some 5x80s down the line as they are another experience

    Hey, thank you for showing the frames, i am interested if they feel like skating a 90mm frame, with there smoothness, or do you feel the 80mm wheels in between a lot? And how about the lengh in comparison with the 5x80 and 5x90s? I am on 4x100 (love it!) and a 5 wheel frame is so something i want to try soon, could be a good help. They feel very smooth. Not too different to the 5x90 frame I have. For the wheelbase, the 5x90 are 364mm, the MIX5 are 344mm and the 5x80 are 324mm.

    The frames are good. They are solid and the hardware is good. My boot size is EU 46. Which frame to go for I would say it depends on have you used any other rockered frames to do "wizard skating" in? If you are just starting out I would say the 5x80 would be easier to start off on

    Hey, my name is Thiago I am 19 years old (20 in April), I am an Artistic Skater (Roller Skater), I love freestyle and I would very much like to skate freestyle again, I skated a little in Brazil where I am from, but my skates was my uncle's and I couldn't bring them . I really wanted to buy a freestyle and skate again, but for that I would like to meet groups and where they skate to start making friends in this area, do you know of any place (of course, after the lockdown) or some whatsapp group that can join that I can join more in that area. I lives in Liverpool. Thanks
