This reminds me of The little Tennessee River in Franklin N. C. I go there often to see my friend. I now own property on the river. Love it there.

Im not far from Tellico, (i live in Cleveland) but me and some friends have been camping in those mountains since we were kids. It never gets old catchin trout and enjoying a cool beer around the fire in the evenings up there. If you haven't been up there, by all means go and camp or just spend the day looking at the beauty of it.
I've been going to the Tail of the Dragon every year since 2003 and we always come through Tellico for breakfast at least once to the Town Square Restaraunt. Each table has a sign that reads "They can take prayer out of our schools but it's welcomed here", Amen! I may have grown up in Detroit and stuck in Chicago now but I feel at home in Tellico, people talk to you like they've known you for years and they're real people. I know how to get down there now I just gotta figure out how to stay there.
Yeah, I've done the DRagon a couple of times from Upstate NY. I liked it down there and with me being retired the wife and I are looking to move to Tellico or Marysville.
@@KeukaRyder that's awesome, hope you accomplish your goal 👍😉

I was a little city girl from D.C. whose parents moved me to this small town to teach me the real values in life. I am forever indebted to them for their wisdom. The incredible people in this area are truly amazing, and I consider each and every one of them close family. I love Tellico Plains, Tennessee!
God bless you Charles and Billie Nell... missed you over the years. Love Trish (Stamey) Smira.
Absolutely Beautiful!!!
