I said it then and I say it now so many years later, knowing he was injured and the mother did her best for mama including the sibling the rangers or whoever was there should have save the cub and not let it die like this for no reason and taken it to a sanctuary to live out it s days with a wheelchair at least because he had the will to live and tried so hard but he was alone and it was a big struggle in the jungle for him. Breaks my heart watching this each time,I know it s nature but these human interfere all the time so they could have helped him,😭😭he was such a fighter and his mum kissing him one last time😭😭

During their "reality" show it was fairly easy to see that Ryan O'Neal was experiencing a myriad of opposing emotions at that time in his life. The way he dealt with all those emotions was he rolled them all into the one emotion that he knew could bring him the most sympathy and understanding from others. It was the emotion that was the easiest emotion for him to openly admit to... He could only admit that he was in mourning. Because he knew that when he told people that he was still mourning the demise of Farrah Fawcett then in turn most people would feel empathy for him. I believe that the truth was that he identified his enormous guilt as sorrow. Psychopaths cannot feel guilt. By calling his enormous guilt, enormous sorrow, he didn't have to take responsibility for the brutally selfish, self centered, and narcissistic, way he lived his entire life at the expense of the people he claimed to love the most. It's very telling that Tatum admitted to being jealous of Farrah's beauty. Tatum said that she believed that she could never measure up to Farrah's beauty. Even though the truth is that Tatum is a very beautiful female in her own right. Tatum couldn't compete with Farrah because Tatum's father broke up with her when she was merely a child. Tatum was her fathers girlfriend. Then Tatum was thrust into the role of her fathers ex-girlfriend. It's clear that Ryan didn't treat Tatum like she was his daughter. After Ryan O'Neal traded up to be with the gorgeous popular culture icon Farrah Fawcett... Tatum lost the only identity she had grown up with. Meaning: Ryan O'Neal divorced Tatum O'Neal, and he did it to her well before John McEnroe ever did. Now I can see why the chemistry that Ryan and Tatum had together in Paper Moon was so palpable. I'm sure that as a professional actor Ryan was well aware of the fact that Tatum was a natural. But I'll bet that Ryan could not stand it when he realized that he was the supporting actor to Tatum's lead role. I'm certain he couldn't handle it. He must have resented her for upstaging him. Tatum O'Neal was the quintessential, super intelligent, child prodigy actor, who was so natural, and so believable, that she could deliver lines with an authentic country accent while easily suspending the disbelief of the audience who fell in love with her. So as a result she achieved something that was always out of her fathers reach. Tatum won an Academy Award. My guess is that (even if only subconsciously) Ryan O'Neal never forgave Tatum for that. So he relegated her to being one of the many females in his life. Instead of his one and only daughter who was confident that nobody could ever take her place in her fathers life away from her. Ryan literally kept Tatum prisoner in the role of one of his former lovers, as opposed to his own flesh and blood daughter. That's how Ryan treated Tatum and in turn that is who Tatum believed she was in her relationship with her father. That's not her fault. It was his fault. Tatum was her fathers jilted ex-wife. Tatum went through the same emotions that many ex-wives go through when their ex-husband finds a new wife who they know is more beautiful then they are. No ex-wife ever wants to find out that their ex-husband left them and then found the gorgeous love of his life. But that is exactly what happened to Tatum O'Neal. So the racket ball competition was a metaphor for what Tatum felt when her father broke up with her and moved in with a new lover who Tatum couldn't possibly compete with. When you consider the fact that these are Hollywood actors you have to also consider that the evidence that is easy to see on the surface goes far deeper than we could ever imagine. They invite us to sit on the outside and look in. Because they like the attention and the paycheck that comes with seemingly telling their whole story. But reality T.V. isn't the real reality. While at the same time they're admitting to more than what meets our eyes and ears. Because like Hollywood always does they are telling the real story to our subconscious minds. Which makes me wonder if Ryan gave his daughter Tatum good reason to grow up believing that she was his girlfriend. Because Ryan most certainly related to Tatum more as a girlfriend, and later as an ex- girlfriend, then as his daughter. In their "reality" series Ryan O'Neal seemed to be trying to accomplish two things. First he wanted to make sure that everybody knew that Farrah was his. Which in his mind could rehabilitate his public image. The other thing that he was trying to do was salvage his broken love affair with his ex-wife Tatum and then turn it into a friendship for the camera's. Which in his mind would also rehabilitate his public image as well. Because deep down inside Ryan O'Neal knew his way of life destroyed his career and all of his loved ones. So he turned to "reality T.V." in an effort to fix it all in one felled swoop. But that plan backfired on him. Because he needed Tatum to make the series work in the eyes of the producers, and Tatum had her own side to the story that was far more believable than Ryan's. In reality when Ryan made the decision to once again share the screen with Tatum it was Paper Moon all over again. I think that part of Ryan's problem was he seemed to really only want to fix his public image. At least that's how it feels to me. You can see that he could never admit that it was his personal/private life that really needed fixing and you can't fix your private life in public. While at the same time we (the audience) can clearly see that Ryan O'Neal never came to grips with the fact that Tatum was his daughter and not one of his many jilted lovers who was jealous because he left her. Which exposed him and in turn it only served to show the public that Ryan O'Neal had not changed. In fact this series demonstrated that he was incapable of change. Ryan was incapable of feeling empathy for anybody other than himself. It's the core reason why Farrah's only child is living in a mental institution (as far as I know) to this very day. It's also the reason why Tatum and her brother Griffin are so deeply damaged. Paper Moon was arguably the best movie that Ryan O'Neal was ever a part of. It was better than Love Story and Barry Lyndon and most likely Ryan always knew it. So a man like Ryan O'Neal with his indomitable pride, his out of control ego, his uncontrollable anger, and narcissism, was perpetually forced to wholly ignore, but never forget, that when his career was at it's peak he played second fiddle to his absolutely brilliant ten year old daughter. Which was not Tatum's fault. She only did what was expected of her. If it hasn't happened already, I hope that Tatum can forgive her dad and move on with her life. Because if she can truly forgive him in her heart then her heart will feel much better. In closing I want to ask this very important question... I wonder if SAX SHOE WELL A'$$ SALT sits at the bottom of Ryan and Tatum O'Neal's father/daughter relationship. Because we know now that S' - A' has always run rampant in the Hollywood Underworld. That is not a far fetched possibility. In fact... If it's the truth it would explain a lot. So if Ryan O'Neal did that to his daughter Tatum, then I still hope that she can truly forgive him in her heart so her heart will feel much better. Take care. sincerely, Dean O. :-I

You know what role would his voice be perfect for? (If the original actor's voice wasn't available ofc) Dark Helmet from Spaceballs. He has the right amount of petulance and snobishness in his voice that would realy go well with Dark Helmet's personality.

I was searching for Farrah's documentary and came across this nightmare. Ryan O'Neal is the absolute worst. Everything is everyone else's fault. He doesn't have a temper, it's other people making him angry? It's well documented that he beat the hell out of Farrah. "She met us and then she got cancer." Farrah died of anal cancer, so unless you gave her HPV (one of the most common causes of anal cancer - and one of the most common, and most overlooked because of the lack of symptoms, STIs, and it wouldn't surprise me if Ryan had it and didn't know) meeting your family had nothing to do with it. That's not how cancer works. However, your KIDS CERTAINLY had nothing to do with it, YOU would have been the one to pass along the HOV, assuming that was the cause, but I'm not here to speculate. And saying that Tatum is lying about her childhood drug use because she made movies during that time period? Referring to his son as "that other guy?" What an absolute piece of garbage.

Unbelievable. Self absorbed clueless brute. Tatum pray to God to mend your heart. I did when I saw my mother as an adult. She is willing to start a ww3 if you remind her of child abandonment. . I made my peace with myself. We have good superficial relationship where everybody is content. It took time to understand this is the best I can get from her. So ok then, I took it.
