This reached me. As the one who needs to go to church again. I just have a hard time with a lot of country churches that just feel. Dead. A bunch if old people that just don’t want to go to hell. I will pray about it

I understand that feeling, it definitely makes it easier to go to Church when people are in a similar situation as you in the pew next to you. But, I the reason I go to Church, is because of Christ. This has allowed me to go even when I lacked friends, even when people were mean, even when I did not really want to. Because I knew I could go commune with Christ and renew covenants, even if I did not get fellowship.

I would gently council you to look into the accuracy of the Bible and scrutiny that scholars put the Bible through. Scholars could not do the same with the Book of Mormon. After seeing Bernie Sanders support the gay community since the 80’s I don’t buy her excuses, 2004 was not that long again even though I was a child at that child at that time. It’s good to know someone was always for basic human rights, just because Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton are “blue” doesn’t mean they automatically get my vote. Obviously the Republican Party has been very anti-gay both currently and in the past, but that shouldn’t mean I am required to vote for someone that suddenly had a change of heart in the past 15 years. For this reason, and many other reasons I will always stay independent. Both political parties change with the wind and I’m sick of it. Vote for whoever you choose, don’t let either party convince you that you’re throwing away your vote.
