Greetings from Seattle! I just started Jeck, a free pattern from Regina Satta and I love it super simple rib design with slips and garter in place of just purls. I love a vertical design for self striping and medium speckle or variegated yarns to keep it interesting without losing all the detail in busy colors. Happy knitting!

I have such a hard time picking colors if it’s more than two haha I get total analysis paralysis but I like the idea of a lilac with the soft blue and charcoal - whatever you pick, I look forward to seeing it next time. Wow the yarnable yarn is super cool, it will definitely make amazing socks! for making the pickle socks smell, could you make up a little sachet with some dill in it? You could also do an apple cider vinegar rinse which would be all kinds of good things, and together would give a pickle-like smell without the pickle juice? I've always heard nupp pronounced the first way you said it, like yup or pup(py) and not like soup or goop or, well, anything else. I see other people have told you the band is Pink Floyd and the album is Dark Side of the Moon, a band and album I have never actually listened to, either.

It is 22C/71.6 F here, but I still need my socks!! I am looking forward to see what you do for Summer Sock Camp. Jinny - UK

Good news about the blanket recalculation 😂. If I were you, I would still try to do a little more each day, so that you don’t end up with loads to do just before the due date! If you have a busy yarn, I find the Blueberry Waffle sock pattern is perfect. It also grips the leg well. I love textured patterns, so am in the process of moving over to 100% nonsuperwash wool, in plain colours, so that the textures show up more. In the past, I have always used merino-nylon sock wool, but it feels like the time to change. I love the Long Dog yarn for this month - beautiful colours. My husband was a USN medic and has spent 2 periods in Okinawa during his life. Jinny - UK

That is the plan. I think ill do 1 or 2 nights a week dedicated to the blanket so that the work is still going. Thanks for the pattern recommendation I will check it out! I typically do the Rhinebeck Roomies pattern for busy yarn and I want a texture but having a second pattern is perfect.

First timer here. Enjoyed this very much. Question: on magic loop is there a way to rip back around 10 rows on leg or do I need to start over. I'm 40 rows into leg. Can I pick up stitches and how on magicloop
@shelabobby3 ай бұрын
Thank you for watching! You can totally pick up without having to start over. So you will want to start by ripping out that needle (or use a second needle) and begin on your front or needle 1. Holding the sock like you are going to knit go from right to left picking up the right leg of each stitch on the row you want to go back to. Once you have all the stitches on the needle for the front, turn to the back side and pull that needle just like you would magic loop. Again pick up from right to left on the row you want to go back to only the right leg of each stitch. When you complete the back stitches, you now have your needles on front and back and in position to knit on needle 1/the front. You can now pull out the yarn till you reach your needles and begin knitting again
