    I went on a group ride like that on a Harley. But it wasn’t a traditional Harley lol. Pan America Special 1250. Some knew about the bike saying that the PanAm will give a sport bike a run for the money. A few chicks riding sport bikes walked up to it digging the bike and were like “Is this a Harley?” The Pan America is a high tech rocket. The 150hp Revolution Max 1250 is a serious adventure bike. 5 modes Sport, Road, Rain, Off Road, and Off Road + adjust the bike beautifully for a perfect balance of power and stopping depending on what you are doing. The Adaptive Ride height is awesome. While coming to a stop it will automatically lower. When I rode with the group I was in Sport Mode. It automatically adjusted suspension and engine mapping helping me keep up the group with ease. At the end of the day the group had a different vision for Harley. As it did me when I first twist of the throttle. It speaks metric all through the 6 gears. Awesome ride and cool content! Ride safe ✌️.

    I had a motorcycle when I was a kid , I think it was an 80cc Honda , and as I was looking at new bikes I noticed that the shifting is still the same with the first gear being at the bottom and neutral coming right after first so why is it that it's first , neutral , then all the other gears ? Seems like the industry should make neutral at the bottom then followed by the gear speeds ?

    I’m planning on getting my motorcycle endorsement, sometime in my future. Tbh I’m a sport bike person, love the look of them. Might start out with one of the 2 most common starters (Yamaha r3 or Ninja 400), still haven’t decided which one though. Both are similar but with minor differences.

    What tuner did you use for the air cleaner and SP exhaust setup?

  • @kevlarxkoffee

    Dynojet PV4 tuner with a custom fuel map from Fuel Moto, but I suggest the Vance & Hines FP3 tuner over the Dynojet. I have a riding video on the tuner 🤙

    I'm gonna tell you it doesn't matter what your ride may be..... lol, it's who you are as a person & how you show respect in whatever circumstance you find yourself in. That said, I took my TOMOS 49.9cc Moped to a Harley party for 3 days of blinding drunkenness & came out the other-side alive. Some hated that I showed on that ride but lucky for me the head guy thought I had ballz... IDKnow that I had ballz but the booze made me not see the dangers..... Let's see how you do? peace

    very dangerous riding,,,,they need to stay in formation so that other traffic will see them as a group and adapt. They shouldnt hog one lane or surround other vehicles such that if a car wants to turn or change lanes, hes blocked in. Id recommend that everyone take a couple of free rider classes to learn courteousy on the road, and group riding such that they can be safe in knowing what others in the group will do. In the world of today, having a radio in your helmet so you can communicate with your group leader and each other is a much safer way to go. I think if you would invest time in yourself and maybe go to a couple of club rides or meetings, your future would be safer rides and meet some new, experienced riders also

    I like you don’t constantlyblip the throttle when stopped or when riding slowly, A lot of sport bike and Harley riders do that constantly and I guess they’re trying to impress someone or scare the woman and children or something but I find it childish and annoying.

  • @brucej6198
    @brucej61982 күн бұрын

    no that’s not the reason at all. when bikes idle for a while they tend to bog down so to keep it from shutting off they blip the throttle. or shifting into first they blip the throttle too sometimes.

    A modern motor cycle will idle all day long and never miss a beat. An air cooled bike may get really hot if idled to long but blipping the throttle will only increase the heat. Decelerating from speed blipping the throttle to ( rev match) to get smooth down shifts is the only time blipping the throttle has a benefit.

    A couple years back, I was really impressed when an old dude on a Harley showed up at a dual-sport-oriented adventure rider rally .. the only Harley at the event. Ive never seen anyone use the throttle like that when shifting. In fact, you can shift up without the clutch by barely rolling off throttle quickly and shifting at same time. Ive had 2 Sportsters 2004 and a 2005. Currently have a 2016 Ultra Limited.

    @@juniorcopeland9082 Rear end collisions are not uncommon at lights. Most of the time it is a fender bender with no injury or sometimes there is whiplash. Not so minor if it is a motorcycle being rear ended, especially with a car in front of the bike. Getting out of the back of the line and out of the line of fire saves lives. One study showed that states that allow it have 30% fewer motorcycle deaths from rear end collisions. My wife was once in a rear end collision on the freeway. Stopped traffic, pickup drove into the rear car at 60mph. The first car was driven into the next, into the next, etc. My wife was the sixth car in. Imagine if there was a motorcycle in that bunch.

    Perfect example of why I follow a group from behind when there are younger (or crazy) riders present. I was once riding with a group of people and one guy pulled up next to me at a stop light in a rolling stoppie with his girlfriend on the back. I don't have a problem with people doing stunts (I used to dabble myself) but I don't appreciate it when they do it next to me. I was impressed by how well your mirrors work. 😂
