Well it is really really good but it is not what Couperin wrote! To tell you the truth it is a little distracting if you know or have studied this piece. The added "chromaticisms" are something that Couperin would never have done. Definatly an interpretation of the original. It would be interesting to know why the performer felt that these added notes were somehow justified here! Like I said earlier, you should mention the fact that you have changed this piece to your own 19th/20th Century style. It is amazingly well executed but not what Couperin wrote. Cheers

Bravo : les ralentis que vous impose votre instrument sont tout à fait dans le style et ajoute beaucoup à l'interprétation : bravo (avec votre sonorité mystérieuse) .

Brilliant she's not even looking at her left hand, it's automatic! The wood I think is Padauk, I've used in my workshop and off cuts do have a sound to them.

Esta musica maravillosa suena bien en este instrumento, le da in aire aun mas misterioso a estas misteriosas barricadas. Tambien porque la ejecucion es impecable, con un tempo perfecto y un fraseo muy seductor. Gran interprete.

To all the haters - it's an ARRANGEMENT. There are other artists on here who play exactly the same version on the marimba. Cool down and have a chamomile tea

ALL trained musicians here KNOW it's an arrangement just as they KNOW it's a very BAD one. Now you may go and have that stiff drink.

It's not a bad version. But she does get a few notes blatantly wrong sometimes. I don't know if it's a limitation of the instrument or she's just not hearing it.
