The Crown totally misded how obssessed Camilla was with Parker-Bowles. In his 20s he was the go-to hunk for aristo girls. Good looking, phenomenal sportsman, great talker, charm central. Other girls warned her about him, but she got him, punching well above her own attraction weight. Then, true to form, he started going out with other women.

Charles’ earlier philosophy aligning with Edward is telling. Edward was a sociopathic narcissist who had aligned himself and his wife in the glamorous elite with Hitler to create the superior race. Under Nazi reign, his position would have been “Supreme Leader” of Great Britain, Scotland, & Ireland.” That, not Wallis, was the reason for his abdication-it was forced upon him. Wallis was the convenient excuse. Edward cared more about his wardrobe and the cars in his garage than he ever cared for British citizens. It was he that was the current day Megan MeMeMeMe Markle. For Charles to see the abdication as unfair “personally” showed his childish self-entitled thought process…. one man’s importance above all of humanity. Foolish man.

This series was not only a lovely love story, (which in real life ended after 11 years with Ann Lister's death at the bottom of a Mountian due to a tick bite fever,) but it was remarkably played and directed. It was also funny as well! Loved the suffering sister...she was awesome, and the entire cast never let any part of this show lack in quality! The costume designs were also top-notch! I noted a real tinder box used during the period to light fires with...nice touch guys! This is a sweet song sung by a very talented actress, who seems to be also a very kind person in real life. I saw that the kids she worked with one day, adored her! No surprise. That smile she has is beautiful!

I think Charles will make a great job of king now as he's known his entire life that was his duty his job his "calling" so to speak! I'm not an anti royalist infact i admire all the royals and have much respect towards them bcoz they are a part of British culture and heritage as english tea the great sunday roast and the very tasty yummy full english which everyone who is born n bred in britain will know INSTANTLY wot a full english is!!! I love this depiction weather accurate or not because although Charles is an intellectual none of the women of his life were 😀. Diana wasn’t of her own accord and if this depiction is accurate Camilla isn’t either 😊. Which doesn’t mean that they are not sharp. An intellectual woman would have been competition for Charles. That is one of the reasons he disliked Diana. She was much more likable in the popularity contest. Charles is very smart but he is not a true intellectual he lacks the rigorous training in debating, research etc. of a true intellectual. Charles does not like to be challenged by anyone outside of the polo field. or a horse race. He surrounds himself with "yes" men.

What I would love to see is the character of Anne Lister singing these songs, in costume and all. I love her acting in this show, but I have a very hard time actually picturing that wonderfully sweet voice coming out of this character.
