So stupid having the discs in slide-in sleeves. They always end up scratched.

I had no idea that shop was in a National Lampoon movie until the new-ish manager told me about 3 months ago. I worked in there for 3 years, and the water meter in the shop, from what i remember, was manufactured in 1953ish.

I'm a huge fan of Jesse Eisenberg and I couldn't stand this movie. I also think Finn Wolfhard is a talented guy but your points were all very accurate. The characters were insufferable. I genuinely couldn't comprehend the scene where Ziggy curses out his parents at dinner and they barely react. I feel like Jesse Eisenberg wrote every character as a stand in for himself and it just didn't work.

The reason why you feel like you miss an Act is because you are. You need the Dads perspective and you need a fleshed out version of why the mom got involved at the shelter. Spoiler. She has a good reason. Listen to the Audible to find out. Spoiler in case you don't want to listen Her BF was in the military and died in service which makes her want to do her own kind of good. He literally died helping to "save the world" in some way and so she dedicates herself to service, and not only that, but the Dad is actually really important and has a lot of parallels drawn between him and Ziggy in the Audible. Truly a missed opportunity.

I hate these people, HATE them. this is the kind of movie where i think the people that made it are being completely sincere and are completely oblivious that it come across like a parody, by showing how genuinely ridiculous their white guilt middle class liberal bubble world is. i think the end actually summed it up pretty well, get over yourself and stop trying to save the world and feel important. and instead concentrate on your own life and your family. i cant stand people with a savior complex.

Lots of Vacation was shot in and around flagstaff. The house where they dumped Aunt Edna off is in flag. The bit where they found out she died and slammed the brakes is above Sedona. The rainy shot w aunt Edna on the roof is DT flag.

Most of the jokes seemed beneath the Coen brothers, this was a weak effort. Shame, as the opening scene was hilarious, I thought it was setting the tone but instead we gat a Coen take on wokeness and 90s teenage tv shows.

Haven't been this disappointed in a Coen movie since the Lady Killers remake, which was worse than Hudsucker Proxy; they need to get back together and make something as good as No Country For Old Men again.

I did have something like that happen one time. I don't remember all of the details, we did end up getting a room in the end. I learned I need to call the hotel directly the evening of my arrival and let them know I will be arriving late. Remember Kauai, that long day of travel, we got to the Airbnb super late and the owner of our unit never informed the property manager that we had a reservation? We almost ended up having to sleep in the car, but I had a lot of email proof, and I think the lady felt bad for us and gave us the keys.

I remember that now. In this situation, the hotel was apparently completely full, so no way to get a room. At least the refund was fast!

I believe it's the distributor that decides sale prices, not the store. And at my local Best Buy, all the free standing racks are empty. Movies left are all in the long racks and getting lesser. And Walmart is taking over the steelbook sales.
