I remember when this show came to LA many years ago. I wasn't able to go, but I read an article about the guy in the newspaper. He got the idea while he was performing in a production of Macbeth (he played a small role, one of the guards or something, with only a line or two). While sitting around bored backstage, he found a couple of Simpsons action figures and began acting out the play with the characters. Pretty soon the rest of the cast was gathered around ... and it blossomed into this one-man show. I've been a Simpsons fan since the Tracey Ullman days, and boy do I regret missing this.

I wish there was a video with this entire performance lying around! As a person who is planning to become an English teacher and had to read many shakespeare texts plus a fan of the Simpsons this seems extremely hilarious and really talented stuff!

Lovely to see you Anne-Louise.... I still remember doing some singing rehearsals in that room for the "Merry Widow" which was directed by Bob Peet, many years ago now! I loved my days at the IPAC! So good to see what is happening with the guys, where they rehearse and look forward to seeing you all again in days to come!

How special is this? I get to leave the very first comment about Arj Barker. What should I say? Well, I met this girl last week who was visiting from Australia. Here in Los Angeles for about 3 weeks. I asked her if she had heard of Arjy Bargy. She said "of course I do mate. Everyone in Australia knows Arjy Bargy". I asked her why he won't do a freakin show in Los Angeles. Oh that's easy, she says, we adopted him. Yep, it's all legal, the papers have been signed. All Australians now are the legal parents of Arj Barker and I guess they decide whether he can actually ever do a show in L.A. Thanks Australia, that's just great.
