  The stock Amiga A1200 has 2MB of Chip (System), That can't be expanded even with an accelerator card. But the PiStorm32-Lite (CM4) has given me 1.8GB of fast RAM, Wow.

  Great video. Many thanks. Still, I have a question for you. I have a slightly different model, the one with blue reset switch and a sliding power switch. Board is also somewhat different. It has two power rectifiers, for example and Sony video-chip. Here's the picture : i.postimg.cc/G2gJT2mJ/IMG-20240509-034026.jpg But still, I have the same issue with twiching picuture on Samsung LCD TV. Tried RF connection and scart, which is a little better, but still not usable. Can you please tell me that your mod is applicable on this version of MD2 and full specification of the capacitor used (220mf, but how many volts) and the resistor (how many ohms)?

  Just to say make sure you use the the newest version of HXC floppy emulator as earlier version would not convert the IPF to hfe, I found the solution for me was to use the latest version of HXC software and it will work then, just thought I would mention it here in case other people have the problem

  Nice demo. If you update to the latest version of CaffeineOS you will get even better compatibility with games and demos, as it includes the WHDLoad Wrapper which applies the optimal settings for WHDLoad and Emu68 when a game/demo is run. The database for it are updated regularly as more stuff is tested

  Amazing!!! =D Thanks for testing those games, those are ones that didn't work (amongst many others) on the original PiStorm! Looks like they fixed the issue with the 1200 version! The performance is incredible! Might get one at some point!

  Does this dvd drive now read original games too? Because i have ltu2 pcb and placed in a dg-16d4s , i installed the firmware got the same result as you did , the only thing i did not do is not clicking multiple times on outro in jungle flasher. Now the result is i got a dvd drive that closes the disc tray partially , when i touch the open tray button it opens super fast, and to make it read cds i have to push the tray manually , it begins to read and pops up the xbox360 message which says that this disc is not compatible , even for original cd games . Any idea what could be wrong? I want to try again with another board , kinda scary :D

  What discs did you use to burn all those games? I'm curious since I have a phat flashed xbox 360 and have been getting coasters using Verbatims somehow.

  Thanks for the video and realising your hard work. I'm a bit confused how the actual microscope holder mounts to the boom arm. I have an Elgato wave arm high rise boom arm, it came with a 3/8 adapter. I don't understand how this Mount secures onto the 3d printed part, as the bottom doesn't have a hole? Only the top bit so it looks like its just floating.

  Phil this was exactly the video that I was looking for. I've got a SCPH 1002 model which I've bought in 1997. The laser became faulty and I have just decided to buy a chinese BAM440 model laser reader. I have applied it to the system and it doesn't read anything. And even the spindle stopped turning after I tried to eleveate the spindle as it came tight out of the box. So how to do all this at home without machines such as yours available, would you suggest an easy way if there is any? Thanks for your time.

  Ive got the same dvd rom drive of my rgh3 console. this dvd drive is destroyed. i wanna know (i have the dvd key of this drive) can i replace it with a different one and the console accept it?

  So it is possible to adjust the laser without an oscilloscope but with only a multimeter? (No eye-pattern but still a voltage reading).

  Thanks for the tutorial. Just flashed a dg16d4s using this video. I didn't have x360 usb pro so i tried it with sata cable direct to the pc motherboard and used the xbox for power. Thanks for the video 😁

  That's only relevant if you're using a SCART cable since it need 12V. In NTSC part of the world, most people will use either regular RCA cable, or VGA or HDMI adapter. And yes VGA and HDMI use the 5V only, not 12V.

  So is it ok to use a megadrive controller on an amiga? i keep seeing conflicting opinions on this. Also ive had my amiga for over 30 years and have always used the same MD controller without any issues so i dunno😂

  Like I'm sure many others, I stumbled across this on my KZread Feed and it brought back so many great memories of our C64! This in itself highlighted the gulf in technology between the C64 and the Speccy with it's ear shattering sounds of pain :D Q: Anyone know where to get these as a ringtone?!   Hi! My C2N has problems loading tapes even in maximum peak to peak. Would adjusting R1 and R2 series resistors with head help things out?

  Great video. I have the MG Chemicals no-clean rosin-free liquid flux, but it evaporates instantly when I get my iron near it (350C). Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Even when using lots of it it just disappears.

  Question: I had this mod done YEARS ago (found someone online and local) and have the white board in the drive. I do not have the original. One day last year, my kids decided to try and go online and now I'm getting a message of it trying to do a firmware upgrade, will not play my backups anymore. What do I need to do to reflash the board for the drive?

  Would it be possible to use one of those cassette to 3.5mm audio adapter, connect the adapter to a PC, have the PC generate the tone, and tune the azimuth that way?

  Absolute class, for me when i opened my Commodore 64 for Christmas, i had the bundle with "The In Crowd" pack all the blockbusters pack and there also was the Quiz Show pack included too. When i saw the loadihg screen for Rambo, holy flurkin schnitzel 😲😲😲😲, it was epic. Versions 4 and 5 of the Ocean Loader became my favourites. Thank you for an amazing trip down 8bit / 64k memory lane.

  Is the Xbox 360 RGH'ed. also, try using a program like FATXplorer for window, you can format Xbox 360 HDD with that.

  What happens if my Xbox 360 gets bricked (in later time like 1-2 years later) once it's flashed successfully? I can just take the flashed Dvd drive and put it in on a working Xbox 360 console?

  Yes but you'll need to change the DVD-Key to match the new Xbox 360. also if the drive was a different model you'll need to spoof the drive to that model.

  @@Four_X Well at least the flashed Dvd drive isn't useless if the console motherboard gets bricked. Also I don't need trinity or coronas to have it work on flashed dvd drive right? I just want to have it close to retail as possible without the extra features like rgh 3.0 ect..

  Video is 5 yrs old, but VERY helpful as I upgraded to a 2TB SSD. I could not figure out why XBPartitioner would not allow me to configure partitions to allow the full F and G drives. The trick you described at the 7 minute mark worked. Thanks.
