Stephen Sheehi, whom you see in this video, is a liar and a slanderer in every sense of the word. On page 341 of the book chapter "Decolonizing the Photography of Palestine: Searching for a Method in a Plate of Hummus", he put a photo of a man offering bread to 7 poor, hungry and weak children, but not giving them the bread, and put the caption, ‘Turkish Official Teases Starving Armenian Children’, 1915. (Featured in Donald Bloxham). Now I ask this liar Stephen Sheehi, how did you slander him without any evidence, documentation or archive information, that this is Turkey, that this man is Turkish, that these children lying on the ground are Armenian? Don't you have any shame? Don't you have any honor? Shameless man.

Yeah, but the oppositions has released proof they won in the form of the tally sheets printed by the voting machines after voting had concluded. The CNE has the same sheets and could release them to prove the Regime won the election if they indeed had won the election. Unfortunately, instead of doing so and putting an end to the unnecessary turmoil, death of Venezuelan youth and destruction of property, they have in fact gone to extraordinary lengths to insure those tally sheets or the electronic data never see the light of day. Why? In every presidential election in the past couple decades its been released concurrently with the CNE's initial announcement. Why not this time with so much at stake? In order for Venezuela to get off of selling oil (their primary resource on the global market), they would need heavy investment from the global north in the form of climate reparations. That's not going to happen with the far-right retaking the state, privatizing everything and instituting neoliberalism in Venezuela. Great discussion Jared! Always love hearing from Dr. Lara. Just ordered her book.
The unlearning is more laborious than the learning. But so worth it ✊🏽 Thank you both 🙏🏽
Marc Lamont Hill is a liberal Zionist academic
I love the reference to Xavier and Magneto, I remember those movies where they would constantly debate each other on the rest of humanity. Lib or fash perspectives on the everybody else question
"when you give even an inch, it's just not that inch that is given." wow. really taking this in. amazing convo-thank you ⭐
A lot of this is amusing to me bc the first time I voted was 2022 at the age of 49 because it’s mandatory in Australia and I couldn’t be bothered with the fine. I put all the major parties last.
Ferenczi's Identification with the aggressor is a great way to view elections in the U.S.
I dont understand the context. So its Angela Davis was supporting US imperialist interests later in life?
there's a lot of context. The book would probably provide more of it, and this admin hasn't read it. If you want to read our prior interview with Dr. James from a few years ago it might provide some context and there's some of her work in the show notes: millennialsarekillingcapitalism.libsyn.com/we-remember-the-attempts-to-be-free-joy-james-on-black-august-and-the-captive-maternal
@@MAKCapitalism ok thanks!!
Can the US help Guyana???? Or can MADURO start a war over OIL? At the end of the day, the Communists/Dictartors only sell OIL. Trump is Maduro
The US doesn't "help" anyone.
But ONLY SELL OIL FOR MONEY ?? Still only exploit natural resources. I ,ike areapes but only a dollar. What to sell or trade with the world except OIL. ONLY SELL OIL ANYWAY. OIL SANCTIONS. Makre, ypurmown stuff. GET OFF FOSSIL FUELS. PUTIN THE SAME
In order for Venezuela to get off of selling oil (their primary resource on the global market), they would need heavy investment from the global north in the form of climate reparations. That's not going to happen with the far-right retaking the state, privatizing everything and instituting neoliberalism in Venezuela. It only happens through a broader revolutionary process regionally, and globally.
