The music of my late teenage years...I see old friends and the Vietnam soldiers and remember how hard it was to feel happy when so many of my age were over there. This orchestra was so good....my husband was a classical violinist and played these numbers many times....my grandson and I put a cup of his ashes on Johnny Mercer's grave here.

This is what you call real music! The crap they have on the radio/albums being made, and sold today are garbage. They’re evil too. Speaking of anger, violence, Satan, rape, sexual crap… They are no good role models for our children or adults for that matter. Bring back the good old days and the music of those good old days!

The MULTI- Tracking you hear in the Mairiat session was developed by Les Paul and Mary Ford in the 50s. The CARPENTERS took the technice' to another level ( Paul said so himself) in the seventies! Hearing that session and the CARPENTERS together ties it all in!!

I love how you added Karen and Richard at the end! This is one of the best songs Paul Williams ever wrote and I wish a modern artist would cover it to keep the lyrics alive!!

I know John Williams composed this piece for ALL of the Olympian athletes, but this theme, along with the American National Anthem and the Marine Corps Hymn, are some of the only songs that swell my heart with pride of being an American. 🫡🇺🇸

Sometimes I feel like the only guy in the world who got into each separately and unknown of any connection. I bought it used at a Disc Go Round (imagine such a place) in Denver in 2003. I was a guitar player who had outgrown the Zeppelins and Floyd's of the world. Got into anime on accident around the exact same time with Bebop. Finally doing JoJo's and am at Stone Ocean. Needless to say I was floored when this was ed 5. This and the photo made me sad immediately. Pat is a god. Araki is a lunatic.
