    I learned how to make the bracelets like this with the same string as the bracelet as the barrel knot, but you could only adjust the knot on one side. So I see you need an extra piece of string to have a double sided adjustment. 👍👍 I’d put a dab of the glue on the hanging ends too.

    Can we use gear wire (tigertail wire) for making this?

  • @onesmilestone777
    @onesmilestone7775 ай бұрын

    you can use tiger-tail wire but you would need an end cap since the tigertail wire are not able to twist and close the ending.

    Here is how to make the simple sliding knot bracelet if you were having trouble with the video. You need 15 inches of string and one 8mm bead and 4 3mm beads. First you start by putting the 8mm bead into the string and then through each side put one of the 3mm beads and once you have done that tie a knot on each of the sides.( if your having trouble with getting the beads through use some wire to help)once you have done that measure it to your wrist and then overlap the ends to create the sliding knot once you have overlapped the string you can use some tape if your string is moving then you put a about a 8 inch string on top and tie a loose knot then take either the left side or the right over the string and then the remaining string over the top then under and through the opposite string and then pull but not tight and repeat on the opposite sides. And once you have gotten it to your desired length cut the excess string and burn it with a lighter so it wont frill or untie then tie a knot on the ends of your bracelet and take a 3mm bead and put it on the ends and tie a knot and cut and burn the remaining string to seal the bracelet . I hope this is helpful.

  • @onesmilestone777

    You can use any cord you like, waxed cord, cotton cord, nylon cord, etc. as long as the cord size are able to thread into the bead’s hole.

    How do I fix this knot when it comes apart?

  • @onesmilestone777
    @onesmilestone777 Жыл бұрын

    if only the ending of knot comes apart then you just need to glue the ending part of the remaining knot. if the whole sliding knot is comes apart then you need to make a new one.
