Thank you for this John, wonderful memories. I spent all my school holidays at Evesham and was mostly fishing opposite the Gaitey landing stage in the mid to late 70's. Even today I can recite verbatim, the cruise announcements that were broadcast periodically through the day

The way the driver just lifted him out and dumped him was if anything even more disgraceful, give him a hug and some reassurance ffs you muppet. Hi John, thank you for this upload! Currently live opposite this site and often wondered what it looked like when it was open. Although it closed in 1999 it hasn't been developed, all the buildings are still there and it is now sadly overgrown. I'm curious if you saw any of the Peacocks, as I think I heard them a couple of times in your video? Their offspring are alive and well, and still live there as the original ones were left behind! They visit often for food and have uploaded some videos of them on my channel. I am tempted to do a now vs then video, would it be ok to use this footage ... with credit of course? Best Wishes, Ian
