    For those doing this on a 2024 Honda Rebel 500 non ABS, you’re definitely gonna need the relay. I can confirm. Edit: Also. There is no need to fully uninstall the fuel tank. All you need to do is remove the single bolt that holds the tank to the bike. Pull the tank up and back, just like the seat, and move it over to the side to access the relay socket.

  • @motokasaki

    K-Speed is the original manufacturer of these parts and assures the highest quality. Any other unbranded part that looks similar is a knock off and terrible quality. Awesome video, mate! I've got a 2020 Rebel 500 and I'm trying your installation method, but I can't seem to drill through the handlebar. Could it be the solid stock handlebar causing the issue or might it be the drill bit I'm using? 1:03

  • @motokasaki
    @motokasaki8 ай бұрын

    Hey brother, thanks for you comment! The stock handlebars are quite thick and that is probably why you’re having a hard time. However, the stock handlebars that are oem to the bike already should have holes. Which bar are you using?

  • @anshulp7
    @anshulp78 ай бұрын

    The original stock OEM handle bars of 2020 Rebel.

  • @motokasaki
    @motokasaki8 ай бұрын

    Ahh, I just realised you are talking about the installation for the bar-end mirrors and not the handlebars (I made another video on handlebars). You should be able to drill holes but It will be more difficult. I cannot help you with that because to be honest I don’t have a lot of experience with drilling. All I can say is make sure you are using a proper drill bit for metal. But I suggest getting different handlebars as they already have holes on the end and will fit the mirrors perfectly as if you do it yourself there may be some error

    You would have been better buying an aftermarket 12V socket, fixing it to your handlebars and running the wire directly to your battery. It has a waterproof top and if it fails, it's easy to swap it out.

  • @motokasaki
    @motokasaki9 ай бұрын

  • @motokasaki

    The main difference for the diablo bar is that the handle has a less aggressive angle towards you. I’m not sure if that makes sense. Basically it is straighter than the stock ones and less bent in towards you. The “built in riser” is exactly the same height as the stock though so its just adjusting the straightness.
