Tim is finest all round performer I've ever. He's a gift to the world and I'm a huge fan. Never got to see him live in his hay day unfortunately. I would pay good money to see him live if he still plays. Total legend

I literally spent 11 years at a private school... But, I still managed to get drug addicted, alcoholic and with some minor prison times to boot. Gave me some great material for songs, but I gotta tell ya... the pawn shop taking ownership of my guitars, amp and gear really dished out a knock to my would be music career... And gettin'' clean n' sober post 40, with a beer but in skinny jeans, doesn't quite hold the same allure as a sexy 20 year old with long, sun·bleached hair in skin tight leather pants singin 'about his Baby, and how his Daddy done him wrong...!

Obviously, I love Tim as a genius musician & an awesome comedian... BUT... I have no idea, where he gets his knowledge about the Bible. Yes, I'm gonna be that guy now. There's literally nothing in Ezechiel 8 about having sex with the members of your family. Not remotely. Where did he come up with that? In Genesis 19 there's a fragment where citizens of Sodoma come up to Lot and say "We know that you have some male guests in your house, give them to us so we can have some fun with them" and he replies "No, I can't, they are my guests. But I have two virgin daughters; you can have them instead". BUT there's nothing in that fragment suggesting that any of that is OK! Contrary: it is to show how rotten Sodoma was with its habits. There's another story in the Old Testament (I don't remember whom it features) of a patriarch who got drunk and went to sleep, and then his two daughters used this to sleep with him. Again - it is shown as something completely repulsive. So if anything, sex with your family is shown as a no-no from get-go. If you want to be an atheist, at least do it right...

Whenever I want to feel better especially after listening to American politics, Tim makes me feel hopeful for humanity. He sings beautifully, plays the piano even better and all of that is simply dwarfed by his creativity.

Has there ever been an entertainer more beloved by his fans than Tim Minchin? This is not to say that everyone "gets him." Those who don't get him are puzzled by those who do. Those who don't get him see and hear only the cursing, the contempt toward religion, and the merely adequate quality of his singing. But those of us who do get him see and hear his brilliance; his innovation; his knowledge of philosophy, politics, and literature; his intolerance of cruelty; his magnificent virtuosity when playing the piano; his quirky humor; the beautiful songs he writes; the ribald songs he writes; and so much more! He and Lin-Manuel Miranda are true musical geniuses.

I periodically return to watch this again because it has most of my favorite of Tim's comedic bits. But if you think comedy is all Tim has to offer, you're missing the point. His recent album, Apart Together, shows that his humor is incidental to his incredible insight; almost as if it's the world that's funny, and Tim's genius is to simply show it to us.

I came back to this solely for the Angry[Feet] part, just so that I could hear him say GUNS. I've had that word repeated so many times in my head, that I had to look through a list of Comedians, and imagine every bloody comedian I know of, just to eventually see Tim's name and it clicked.

I totally agree! They're both effective comedians with serious timing taking the humor to the limits. Then when they break into a really challenging piece of music or amazing solo... mind blown! I love to watch an expert musician or trained Shakespearian actor who isn't afraid to cut loose and enjoy being totally silly or self deprecating.

Yeah I love how he took that idea and built atop it. At the end of What there's a little message about how that special specifically payed tribute to the past and other great comedians who Bo learnt from or liked. For instance at the end of Left Brain Right Brain with the Carlin and Steve Martin juggling joke and this. Gotta love Bo lol.
