We are two 50 somethings that can't get enough of travelling. All we do is save for our next adventure, some people think we are loaded which makes us laugh. We are both self employed which gives us the flexibility to travel when we want, of course though, there's no holiday pay!
We try to keep our living costs as low as possible, and one way we do that is by living on our beautiful narrowboat called Moonshine. We love travelling in the van, flying to distant shores and we recently discovered cruising. We were in Spain and Portugal for the winter 2022/23 touring around in the van. This winter we were in Florida for 6 weeks, two out at Clearwater Beach and 4 weeks playtime in Orlando visiting so many great places.
We also add content while on our travels such as: events, festivals, gigs, theme parks, restaurants, Cafe's & Bars & other things we find interesting, hope you do too.
Our three KZread channels are:

Thanks for this , we are staying at universal in a couple of weeks , where would be the best place for a uber to drop us off on i drive , many thanks
It's great to see what's in walking distance. Some of the times in google maps etc. are bonkers.
In America we have oblong lasagna noodles. Wish we did have those sheets of noodles.
It looks delicious
Prices in the US flucuate on a weekly basis due to inflation, taxes and supplies. In the UK your prices are manipulated and kept the same regardless on whether or not comodities get more expensive or cheaper.
Looks like a nice place to visit! It’s on my list to see ☺️
You should! It’s great for a few hours.
Love old town great vlog both🇺🇸☀️
Glad you enjoyed it
Superb! Looks brilliant.
Thanks, it’s stood the test of time too
It depends where you shop. CVS and WalGreens are high in prices. We also shop on International Drive. We go to WalMart and Target and Dollar Tree.
It sure does, however, prices have increased dramatically everywhere. We were just indicating the prices in the immediate area. Not comparing with supermarkets further away.
❤🎉😊 cheers!
You’re welcome
Very enjoyable 😊😎👍
Glad you enjoyed it
Great vid folks, very enjoyable 😊😎👍
Thanks 👍
Nice vid folks 😊 👍 😎
Glad you enjoyed it
Nice vid folks 😊😎👍
Thanks 👍
Not my cup of tea, but looked interesting. Very good pyrotechnic work. Await the next episode. 😮
Me neither lol.
Boston Lobster feast is expensive, but it's an all you can eat buffet. I love lobster, and last time I was there I ate 14 of them, plus shrimp, clams, and a slice of prime rib. The staff gave a collective sigh when I finally got up to leave. Ha ha ha. Got my moneys worth for sure. I haven't been in a few years, and with this economy, I'm certain the price has skyrocketed, but when I went last, it was 65 dollars per person.
That sounds like a good deal considering you ate enough for a small village lol. We do love our seafood, must give it a try next visit.
Hi both I absolutely love Mac and cheese, could have shared that tonight 😜 see you soon xx
Its good when good, we actually had some pretty rubbish mac and cheese in a few places on our trip. Hard to believe in the US.
Great footage 👏
Thanks 👍 hope you liked it
What time does the bar close at the hotel of an evening?
Hi, it was midnight while we were there.
Hi Guys, if I had done the trip I think I would be not getting much sleep the first couple of nights due to jet lag. It’s the same when we go to Mexico. It all comes good in the end. 👍🏼 it’s like you’re really tired but not. You know.
For sure, coming back to the UK was even worse, always is. We acclimatized soon enough and enjoyed the trip.
@@franandmarts I don’t care for much of the American food to be honest but that Fish festival all day long. 👍🏼
Yes that was a great seafood festival. But there is amazing food, you just need to look deeper for it. The amount of fried food is everywhere though.
Wow that was brilliant what a place. I don’t think I would have been as brave as you two were! Swimming with sting rays, and sharks yuk!!!!! It looked a fabulous place. Glad to see you back. Have great week x
Discovery Cove is great, but there isn't anything in there that's going to eat you. We have snorkeled in places where there are things that can eat you! You have to watch out then lol.
Thank you for the walk down international drive, sitting here on a Friday night , very enjoyable, I have forgotten how many places there are to eat, cheers
Glad you enjoyed it.
Hello you two what a pair you are, your either on rides or eating and drinking. I imagine that you have put on a lot of weight ,it’s brilliant watching you both. Am going to miss this when you’re back in England, hope you continue to do your boat completion. Have great weekend xx
lol, well we do other things too! We put about 6lb on in six weeks which isn’t much as we now back home and in the gym. Got to get ready for travel plans for this year!!! We working on Moonshine this weekend so you may well see a video over there.
Best ever
Was a great day
Wow what a lovely place! Love following you I would never fly so it’s great to see from my chair wonderful. Till next time have great time 😊
Thanks again Sandy, we enjoyed old town, was a great atmosphere. Glad we can show you around in comfort.
Great vid folks, very enjoyable 😊👍😎
Glad you enjoyed it Mark
Another great video, my interest in the ISS started with my lovely sister when Tim Peak was astronaut, she would ring me from Swindon tell me to look up and it was passing over head, fascinating. I still watch it when it’s going over. Have great week 😊
Thanks for sharing that Sandy, so many of us are closet space fans. We avidly watch what Space X are up to and eagerly awaiting launch 3 of Starship, which is very close.
Wow what a place it looked beautiful. It’s lovely to see what it’s like, many people will be prepared with all that useful information. Have great weekend 😊
Hi Sandy, thanks for the wonderful comment, Glad you like it, and yest hopefully informative for those planning to visit.
Great vid folks, really enjoyable, place looks amazing 👍😊😎
It really is! Cheers Mark
Loved watching your video...I'm buying an Omnia to go camping with. I just love Lasagna it looked so yummi. Im looking forward to your next recipe 🥂
Thanks for commenting, we have more van trips planned for this year, so watch this space for more Omnia action! Enjoy your Omnia, everyone that gets one appears to enjoy it.
Would like to see the showers. I’m funny like that.
I don't blame you, we never looked in the showers but I'm sure we will be back.
Wow what a lovely place, what surprises me the most is how you and Fran go on all them big rides wow!!! I would be terrified 😮xx
It is really nice Sandy, This one on here (Expedition Everest) is a baby one lol.
Might sound weird, but Animal Kingdom is my favourite of the Disney parks in Florida.
Not at all, it’s a lovely park, we really enjoyed it.
Great vid folks 😊👍😎
Thanks 👍
Nice vid folks 😊👍😎
Than you Mark
Very enjoyable folks 😊👍😎
Glad you enjoyed it
Great vid guys, very enjoyable 😊👍😎
Glad you enjoyed it we really miss it.
CVS is predominantly a pharmacy with groceries I believe, factor that it's slap bang in the middle of tourist central when many may not have a car and you can see how they can get away with it. We will be using that exact CVS in May when we are there and to save time and a trip to Walmart I will probably put up with being robbed 😂😂
I hear you, time is a big factor when you’re on holiday, especially in Orlando.
Hi both another interesting vlog. It’s expensive place, enjoy your week 😊
Thank you! It was! But chilled and relaxed kinda vibe.
That was epic, food looked delightful, the park looked spectacular in the dark. Have a lovely evening xx
It was! We loved all of it. Thank you Sandy. X
Very enjoyable again folks, the place looks amazing at night 😎👍😊
It really is! So atmospheric.
Wow beautiful ceiling 😊
It is, can you name any of the gods of rock?
@@franandmarts the answer to that is no!!!!! X
😂
Awesome well done Fran Ann Marty for the photography 👍 😊xx
Thanks so much 😊
Thanks for a great vid. Its nice to see the more mature people enjoying it there. I'm 61 and still love going, especially for hhn. Keep up the good work
Mature lol?? Well as long as we stay young in the mind eh? Thanks Mark.
Great vid again folks, looks a great place 😎😊👍
Yeah Mark we love it there. But we are now thinking of othe travel plans for the rest of the year and next winter, even though we still have 9 days left here in Florida
Wow what a place, plenty to do and see. Bet the Mardi Gras will be lovely. Take care x😊x
We did Mardi Gras tonight and they had some kind of issue when we were there that night. The parade is coming very soon.
Brilliant 🤩 xx
That’s a result then!
Are they still on block B ? Do you know how long they've been doing it for so far ? TIA
Yes they are still working on block B, I couldn’t know how long they have been working on it or when it will end. It’s not affected us at all.
@franandmarts Thanks, we always stay there, and stay in block D , we're going out on August 9th, just wondering if we'll get our usual room, or if they'll be on block D ! Great content by the way, keep it coming !
Thanks for that. Will do, only 10 days left of our six week trip.
Great video again, I’m just taking cash on my holiday and I know Seaworld and Busch Gardens are now cashless, did you have any experience of using the machines to convert cash onto a card ? Thanks
Hi, no we didn’t use those machines. We have cash, Revolut and a uk credit card for emergencies. Why not get a Revolut card? There have been other occasions where cash doesn’t work such as vending machines and lockers.
Great content, I really enjoyed SeaWorld it's probably the one park I would always visit, they do so much good work for wildlife and while not everyone agrees with what they do, the parks are a valuable revenue stream to fund these rehabilitation and rescues .
Couldn't agree more! Thank you for taking the time to comment. Some see just one subject and dismiss everything.
