I have 4 different sizes of the irwins, i really do like them a lot. I have the medium size knipex, and i love them. I use the irwins more, because i usually use the smaller sizes or the bigger sizes, but no doubt the knipex is the superior product. The teeth bite so much better and they are much harder. Its easier to wear the teeth on the irwins. I havent warn them to the point they dont work, they still work well, but the knipex have broke stuff free the irwins couldnt, and much easily at that. But i do still really like the irwins and reach for them more often. The knipex i use if im ina pinch and the irwins wont bite hard enough, or i need the slimmer profile of the knipex. Being more than double the price doesnt bother me because they really are better. Like how the knipex bite better then the irwins and the teeth wear more on the irwins, i would imagine the teeth on the irwins bite better than the doyles and the teeth wear more on the doyles. But i havent used the doyles so i cant say for sure, but i have seen some review videos that did verify the teeth are more soft w the doyles. Being the irwins are cheaper and more slim design, its a no brainer to get the irwins

I have some of the Icon pliers, and they're good. But I don't like the Doyle brand so far. The first pair I bought was the needle nose wire stripping pliers, and the hinge had play in it out of the package. It's just enough to make wire stripping a pain with them. It's a shame, too, because I enjoy the Icon pliers I have. I may try to exchange them sometime in the future. I believe I'll invest in a few different pairs of Knipex off Amazon. They've got that pair for around $40. I don't mind paying a little more for something that performs well. There's just some name brand stuff that isn't copied very well. Those Milwaukee pliers look good. I've completely stopped buying Irwin. I've got those same 8" ones and the jaws don't even line up closed. Their quality has dipped too much.

I have all 4 sizes of the irwins, i have no problems with them at all, and i use them professionally for a couple years now. Jaws line up fine. The knipex definitely performs better in stubborn fasteners and pipe fittings, but as long as its not really stubborn, like really rusted tight, the irwins work just fine. I actually reach for them more often then the knipex. I only use the knipex when i have to, like a tighter spot or too tight/stubborn for the irwins.

The 1/2” Pittsburg expandable ratchet I use all the time to torque down lug nuts. On 1 3/4 ton pickup truck the lug nut would not back off for any reason because someone loctited JB welded and flared the bolt behind the nut, so only using the 1/2” ratchet I tightened the nut until the bolt snapped, no cheater bar used, the stud in 2 pieces so they are strong. That was 7 years ago and I am still using the same ratchet to this day.

Yeah the knife would be better associated with Rambo rather than crocodile Dundee. In the movie Rambo he used the compass, and sowed up his arm after being wounded. Both movie knives were similar in size and shape thoug.

I don't like the 1/4 and 3/8 combo extension ratchet. I prefer them to be separated. I've got a cheap Amazon 1/4, 3/8 EZ Red, Pittsburgh 1/2, and 3/4 EZ red all extension ratchets. They are awesome.

The benefit of the flexible inspection mirror is that you can coil and prop it somewhere on the ground or surface and have it pointed to where you need to see hands free.

My favorites from Harbor Freight would be the swivel / roto head ratchets. I cut the plastic handle off of the 1/2" and slide a pipe over the end when I really need to motivate something. Also, the PITTSBURGH PRO 1/4 in, 3/8 in. Drive Long-Reach Dual Flex Head Ratchet is amazing and can take a beating too.

I have a big aftermarket visor mirror I keep in my toolbox to give a wider field of view in unassailable areas as well as stick mirrors. I've also started labeling things because I've had some tools 50 years and when I'm carried from my house feet first, I hope my tools and equipment don't get thrown away because someone doesn't know what it is.

Wile that 8 inch knife looks diabolical and ominous, it's primary purpose is actually for cutting wood. If a fire starter that they also sell can fit in the handle of that knife, that might be quite a good survival item, indeed. You can use it to cut larger pieces of wood by "battoning" the knife. One piece blades are always more reliable than folders. While Multitools are great and you'd certainly want one as well, that large knife is just more robust in every way. Off topic, but a small hatchet is also quite useful. Weight is everything, as is durability in the field, where the tool MUST work without failing. I've been looking for something lighter than a hatchet, maybe a tomahawk as the best solution.

Never repeat NEVER buy battery powered tools like drills ' sawsalls ' or Circular saws from harbor freight !! The tools work just fine but in three months when the batteries won't take or hold a charge anymore youll find out that the replacement batteries that you need have been discontinued and are no longer available !! No batteries = useless tools !! Its a scam that they pull just to get you to buy new replacement tools !!!

Nice video and THANKS for dedicating your channel to the Lord! Get the 36" D-handle MAGNET. I wish the magnet can was aluminum, because you CAN'T pick up anything you just cut. You have to let it cool off before using it or it will burn in! But it's really nice. Yiu can pick up your parts from the floor and drop them on your table, without touching tgem. Yiu can pick up tools, hammers, etc and release with a squeeze in tge handle. (It's an old tool that we used to use, made with a magnet with a hardwood dowel screwed to it and had it sitting inside a spray-paint can lid, sitting on our machines. You set the lid on your machine and move it around, then pick it up and the shavinga would follow it. Then, position it ocer a 5 gallon can and pick up the dowel snd the space diminishes between the magnet and the shavings and tgey fall off into the bucket. We, as Machinists, used tge poo out of that. This new tool is that old one on steroids..

Another fun episode - your excitement is contagious To me - that's a Rambo knife!! That's like Sly Stalone had in First Blood. remember when he was living in the woods, running from the small town sheriff? Yeah I do remember Crocodile Dundee also but I always associated that kind of knife with Rambo.....especially since it came with matches, a compass and fishing line.

Just a few things I bought because I needed them for recent projects. The Icon Steel dead blow hammer, the 3/4" breaker bar, i am cheap so went with the Pittsburgh one, one of the blue silicone trays, because I end up always using the battery for a tool holder which isn't wise.

The gold ratchet is intended to use to fasten that "last" bolt or nut in a project that you finally finished that took, way way to long to complete. The anticipation of finally getting to use the gold ratchet that's been patiently waiting in your ratchet drawer pushing you to finally complete the project. It's almost symbolic.
